In a three-day celebration from October 10 to 12, 2025, Saint Theresita’s School of Tabuk, Inc. honored its 77th year of nurturing faith, resilience, and community service. With the theme “Theresians Living in Synodality as Beacons of Hope,” students, faculty, staff, the Family Council, and alumni gathered as one Theresian family to commemorate the milestone.

The celebration began with a Doxology led by the Campus Ministry, followed by the Welcoming Remarks from Mr. Felicisimo Felix, Family Council President. The first day kicked off with the Friendship Games, where STS Tabuk athletes faced off against alumni in basketball and volleyball, showcasing both the competiton and camaraderie ingrained into Theresians.

The second day, organized by the Family Council, invited families to come together and slow down from the daily rush of everyday life. After the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Roman A. Macaiba Jr., School Director, Theresians and their families shared in a potluck lunch. A raffle drew cheers and laughs alike from the audience, with participants potentially winning prizes such as a 6-cubic-foot refrigerator, a laptop, and the grand prize of a 50-inch flat-screen TV. Proceeds from the raffle will support Family Council projects aimed at improving the school.

The final day opened with a colorful Costume Parade led by the Uniformed Personnel and the STS Tabuk Drum & Lyre Band. Students from each grade level proudly showcased their themed colors and props, joined by faculty, alumni, and the Family Council in a bright display of unity and school pride.

The program proper began with the Doxology by the teaching staff, elementary students, and student teachers, followed by the Filipinism and School Hymn executed by the Drum & Lyre Band. Their following exhibition filled the air with meoldy and color as majorettes and flaglettes performed.

School Principal Mdm. Thelma S. Parungao then gave her welcoming remarks, expressing gratitude for another year of faith and growth. Following, The High School Interns performed a tadek dance celebrating Kalinga culture.

The Field Presentations by the Theresian students shortly took place after, narrated each by Sir Daniel A. Ao-as and Sir Joey C. Galong. The performances sounded diverse values and messages, from celebrating the unity that comes as YKalingas to remembering the responsibility of being God’s stewards that stem from being His children.

After the Closing Remarks by Sr. Cecilia Mary Kanickai Samy, School Nurse, everyone joined together for the Finale Dance, “Ningas ng Pag-asa.”

The 77th Founding Anniversary of STS Tabuk was not just a celebration of passing years, but an asserting of the mission to continue being beacons of faith, hope, and service for generations to come.

As part of the 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration of Saint Theresita’s School of Tabuk, a series of exciting Friendship Games was held from October 10 to 12, 2025. The event featured intense matchups between the school’s Varsity players and Alumni teams, bringing together Theresians from different generations for a fun and competitive celebration of school pride.

The crowd went wild as the Alumni Men’s Volleyball Team opened the games with strong spikes and solid blocks, sweeping the Varsity Men’s Team in straight sets, 25–10 and 25–13. The momentum continued when the Second Alumni Team also crushed their opponents, 25–11 and 25–18. When both Alumni teams faced each other, experience spoke loud and clear — the First Alumni Team dominated 25–15 and 25–4, punching their ticket to the finals. They kept their fire burning in the championship, closing the match with 25–18 and 25–22 to claim the Men’s Volleyball Championship.

The Alumni Women’s Volleyball Team started hot, showing sharp serves and powerful hits to take down the First Varsity Team 25–18 and 25–20. But the Second Varsity Team didn’t back down, bouncing back strong with a 25–20 and 25–19 win. In their championship rematch, the Alumni Women’s Team turned the tables, serving aces and controlling the game tempo to secure a clean 25–20 and 25–19 victory, bringing home the Women’s Volleyball crown.

The Basketball games were just as intense, with the Alumni and Varsity teams going head-to-head in a best-of-three showdown that had the whole gym on their feet. The first match was a nail-biter from the tip-off; the Varsity Team stayed composed under pressure and escaped with a close 77–76 win. The Varsity Team carried their momentum into Game 2, tightening their defense and hitting clutch shots to earn an 85–77 victory. With everything on the line in Game 3, the Varsity went all out with fast breaks, strong rebounds, and clean teamwork, sealing the series with an 82–63 win to capture the 2025 Friendship Games Basketball Championship.

The Friendship Games 2025 wasn’t just about winning, it was a celebration of unity, school pride, and Theresian spirit. Both Alumni and Varsity players proved that even as time passes, the love for the game and for Saint Theresita’s School of Tabuk will always remain. Once a Theresian, always a Theresian.

On October 11, 2025, St. Theresita’s School of Tabuk celebrated its long awaited Family Day with the theme “Pilgrims of Hope: Strengthening Faith and Unity as One Theresian Family". A period of not only fun and merritment but also rediscovery of the true meaning of togetherness. The parents’ participation during the Mass with their children was the beginning of the spreading of the spirit of unity in every nook and cranny of the school. Love was seen through the sharing of laughter, prayer, and presence as one family.

"You have to be in communion with one another,” said Rev. Fr. Roman A. Macaiba Jr. during his homily. His words echoed a deep truth ,that real communion is more than being in the same place physically. It means sharing hearts, carrying each other’s joys and struggles, and finding unity in love. On that day, families didn’t just attend an event; they lived out the meaning of communion through simple acts of care, understanding, and joy.

As the afternoon went on, the fun raffles, shared meals, and the dancing and laughing moments the love parents demonstrated was what stood out the most rather than the prizes or the acts. They were the ones who made the loudest clapping, the largest smiles, and the ones most children felt the most visible, the most supported, and the most proud. Their presence turned out to be the base of the celebration, showing that education is not only taking place in the classroom but also at home where those who love us first hold us

The whole experience with every hug, cheer, and shared laugh was telling: family is where every foundation is built. Although the day was over, its message remained, that the strongest schools are the ones where families are standing together, united by faith, love, and communion.
