BREAKING | Belegorio crowned Miss Tacloban Eco Tourism '25

Jamby Belegorio, a homegrown beauty queen from Asian Development Foundation College, was crowned Miss Tacloban Eco Tourism 2025 after a thrilling feat at the Grand Coronation Night of the Miss Tacloban 2025 pageant, held at Tacloban City Convention Center, June 20.

Aside from the Eco Tourism crown, she also bagged some of the minor and corporate awards including Best in Swimsuit, Miss Photogenic, Miss SMB, Miss Chew Love, and Miss Starforce.

𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐃𝐅𝐂 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

With more than a thousand graduates, Batch 2024-2025 of Asian Development Foundation College marked another milestone in producing able professionals in its 41st Commencement Exercises at the Tacloban City Convention Center, May 31.

In an ocean of blue and black togas, the ceremony commenced with a graceful academic procession with the graduates' loved ones followed by a baccalaureate mass.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the esteemed Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Commission serving as this year’s commencement speaker, USEC. Joseph Fransisco R. Ortega, MBA—whose words left an imprint on the graduates as they embark on a new journey.

Distinctions were awarded to graduates with latin honors, loyalty awardees, and graduates who offered their talents and skills for the alma mater.

As the saying goes "Keep the faith, it will all be worth it in the end," (Franca B., 2014).

𝐀𝐃𝐅𝐂 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 '𝟐𝟓

The Class of 2025 of Asian Developed Foundation College came together in a heartfelt Baccalaureate Mass today at the Tacloban City Convention Center Astrodome, marking the end of their college journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

The solemn celebration brought students, parents, and faculty into a moment of reflection and thanksgiving. Rev. Fr. Alfredo Amistoso, who led the Mass, urged graduates to carry the values of faith, knowledge, and service into the world, emphasizing the lasting power of education.

As they prepare to graduate, the Mass served as a powerful reminder of their growth and a blessing for the path that lies ahead.

𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Second and third year communication students showcased their academic skills and creativity through their speeches in a special event organized for selected communication and education students of Asian Development Foundation College.

Each speaker showcased engaging discussions on proper and effective communication practices through interactive performances and games. More so, awards were given to outstanding participants.

Further, the third year BEED students were recognized for their achievements in their Pre-Oral Defense as part of their SPEC 429: Research in Education course, honoring their dedication to academic research and their journey toward becoming future educators.

The day concluded with celebration and reflection, highlighting ADFC’s commitment to holistic student development.

Attendance is strictly required. Important instructions and final preparations for the Commencement Exercises will be discussed. Please come in appropriate attire and be punctual.

𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝗪𝗔𝗚: 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗

Freshmen students of Asian Development Foundation College set the stage on fire, flexing their dancing prowess in this year's PE Sayawan, May 16.

Representating various programs, freshies showcased their swag aiming to sn**ch the coveted awards.

In a remarkable feat, BSN Block A bested other competing teams and were hailed champions of the dance floor. While, BSN Block B took the first place.

Meanwhile, BSHM Block 3 ranked second and received special awards including Best in Costume and Most Disciplined Group.

Followed by BSIT Block 1 placing third, and the AB Psychology Block 2 and BA Communication in fourth.

This year's PE Sayawan was anchored on the theme "Move to learn, together we move!".

The Physical Education Department of Asian Development Foundation College, through its outstanding PE teachers, successfully conducted the event, uniting ADF Fellows through dance performances.
