AI didn't kill SEO.

It exposed bad SEO that was always fragile.

It raised the bar for relevance and user satisfaction. Sites that answered real questions kept their traffic. Sites optimizing for metrics Google ignores lost visibility overnight.

Good SEO still works because it was never about gaming the system.

Strategy driven SEO aligns with business goals and real user intent.

It builds on solid fundamentals like topical authority and conversion focused content.

It tracks revenue, not just rankings.

If your high intent traffic hasn't suffered, your SEO was probably sound.

If it collapsed, the foundation was weak before AI arrived.

AI didn't change what works.

It just stopped rewarding what never should have worked.
