Isinusulong niya ang reporma sa pamahalaan para palakasin ang mga institusyon at maramdaman ng bawat pamilya ang seguridad at progreso.

Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez announced in a press conference Saturday the city will soon be allowing vehicles of up to 30 tons to cross the San Juanico Bridge.

This after President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s inspection of the bridge on Friday and tasked the city government to study on the possibility of allowing heavier vehicles than the currently 15-ton load limit allowed.

Romualdez said this is a big possibility but traffic will be only one-way and crossing the bridge for the 30-tonner vehicles will be during nighttime when traffic is lesser.

He further assured this new development will happen before the bustle of the Christmas season gets heavier.

The Department of Public Works and Highways beat its December 15 deadline to increase the bridge capacity and President Marcos Jr., during his visit, said he is happy the bridge is steadily being restored. (ACR)

▪️The rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Easterlies.

: Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong araw ang pormal na pagbubukas ng two-way traffic sa San Juanico Bridge na limitado hanggang 15 tonelada ang bigat mula sa 3 tonelada, matapos ang ilang buwang pagkukumpuni ng Department of Public Works and Highways.

Inanunsyo ng Pangulo na kapag matapos na ang rehabilitasyon ng buong tulay sa susunod na taon, babalik na sa hanggang 33 tonelada ang load capacity nito.
