๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ก๐ ๐ต ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ The Misericordia Children Center, Inc. (MCCI), the school's community extension arm, marked its ๐ต๐๐ต ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ on August 23 at the Gonzaga Hall with a number of guests and benefactors in attendance.
The program kicked off with ๐ฆ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป, MCCI's project director, delivering the welcome message and with ๐ฆ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ, the school president, sharing a special message for the occasion that resonated with the audience.
Updates of the program were then reported by ๐ ๐. ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐, MCCI's child care specialist and community development worker. A testimonial message was shared by ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ผ๐, an MCCI youth volunteer.
During the program, the audience listened to the encouraging and inspiring words expressed by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฑ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐ฃ๐๐น๐ด๐ฎ (who represented ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ, a benefactor); ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฒ๐น๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐, an alumnus of HS Class '82 and a benefactor; and guests from partner agencies like the ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ (๐๐ฆ๐ช๐), the ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฏ-๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป (๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐ช๐), and the ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐น๐๐บ๐ป๐ถ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป.
A message of thanks and gratitude coming from ๐ฆ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ, the chairperson of the board of trustees and the superior general of the Religious Sisters of Mercy, was well appreciated.
Song and dance numbers were dished out by the MCCI kids, making the program even more lively and festive. Thanks as well to the kind-hearted sponsor, ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ, a college alumnus, who mobilized his ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ, providing packed meals and other treats the kids took great delight in.
