Sto. Niño SPED Center of the Schools Division of Tacloban City seized its highly coveted victory as the Over-All Champion in the Elementary Level and Most Number of wins of the elementary schools of DepEd Region VIII in the prestigious 2025 Regional Schools Press Conference at Borongan, Eastern Samar this February 07-11.

The entire SNSC community has always been extremely honored with the pride of SNSC, our outstanding student journalists who were able to raise the banner of excellence, meet the standards of journalistic integrity, learn the ability to shed light on critical issues, and inspire future generations of journalists.

The nonpareil recognition that these children have received will serve as a catalyst for future journalistic endeavors. It extends beyond the individual awardees. They serve as a benchmark for journalistic quality, influencing the standards and practices of news organizations and media outlets.

They remind us of the vital role of campus journalism in a democratic society and the power of storytelling to inspire change. The continued existence and prestige of these accolades are a testament to the enduring value of quality journalism and the unwavering commitment of those who dedicate their passion to its pursuit.

Our warmest congratulations to our 23 National Schools Press Conference Qualifiers of SNSC, 11 Regional placers and to all the RSPC participants! We will always be proud of you.
