The people in the coastal areas of the following provinces are STRONGLY ADVISED TO IMMEDIATELY EVACUATE to higher grounds or move farther inland.
○ Eastern Samar
○ Southern Leyte
○ Leyte
○ Dinagat Islands
○ Surigao Del Norte
○ Surigao Del Sur
○ Davao Oriental

READ | ADVISORY ON FORCE EVACUATION AND PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR TSUNAMI WARNING DUE TO THE 7.6 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE OFFSHORE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL

Residents in the coastal areas in the affected regions are strongly advised TO IMMEDIATELY EVACUATE to higher grounds or move farther inland.

○ Dinagat Islands
○ Surigao Del Norte
○ Surigao Del Sur
○ Davao Oriental

All concerned Local Chief Executives (LCEs) are enjoined to prepare for this threat, the following critical preparedness actions must be undertaken:

● EVACUATE THE COMMUNITIES WHOSE HOUSES ARE LOCATED VERY NEAR THE SHORELINE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PROVINCES TO SAFE AREAS.

● Establish and strictly implement the critical preparedness measures based on the following DILG Preparedness Manuals:

- L!STONG Pamayanan Tsunami Toolkit (for communities and

● Activate your respective Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and Incident Management Teams (IMTs).

● IMMEDIATELY ESTABLISH EVACUATION ROUTES, DIRECTIONAL
SIGNS, AND SAFE ZONES FOR AT-RISK COMMUNITIES.

● Coordinate closely with the concerned Regional and Provincial
DRRMCs, DOST-PHIVOLCS, and other relevant agencies for technical support, risk assessments, and public awareness campaigns.
