𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙚 𝙠𝙖! 𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜

March does not only turn a page of a calendar, it opens a chapter of recognition.

This month asks us to pause and truly see the women around us, not as titles or roles, but to acknowledge their sacrifices, their struggles and their courage.

For behind every smile is a history of battles fought in silence.

This month is not merely a celebration, it is a recognition of those women who continue to carve space for themselves in rooms that once refuse them.

To every woman still unfolding, still healing, and still daring to dream. You are a testament to your power.

All roads led to EVRAA 2026.

May you step onto the field with confidence, strength, and determination.

Best of luck to the pride of Taft National High School as you compete in the Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet (EVRAAM) 2026.

This is the culmination of all your sacrifices—early mornings, late afternoon practice, and the quiet promise you made to yourselves to become better than yesterday. Every drop of sweat, every stumble, and every small victory along the way has prepared you for this moment.

Today, you carry more than your name on your back. You carry the pride of your school, the cheers of your classmates, and the belief of everyone that has watched you grow into the athletes you are now.

May you play with passion and compete with discipline.

This is your moment to shine.

Not just for the medals, but for the journey, the courage, the sacrifices and the pride of representing Taft National High School.

Fight hard. Aim high.

Go for the win. Go for the gold!

Is it a halo… or just the lens flare of your own delusions? ✨👀

‎They say the best view is from the top, but you’ve settled for a front-row seat to a show where you’re strictly part of the audience. To our “unseen” protagonists who’ve turned staring into a competitive sport: we see you (even if your crush doesn’t) 💔.

‎While the world is busy exchanging chocolates 🍫💌 and sweet nothings, here’s a salute to our Silent Supporters—the masters of loving from a safe, 10-foot social distance. You’ve basically reached a level where you can spot them in a crowd just by the back of their head or the way their voice cuts through a noisy room.

‎Happy Valentine’s Day to the kings and queens of the background! 👑🌟 Your loyalty is unmatched, your patience is legendary, and your yearning level is officially off the charts 📈.

‎Roses are red, violets are blue, she loved the bouquet… but she doesn’t love you. 💐💔

‎Happy Hearts Day to our brave warriors who’ve mastered the art of being the “unpaid life coach” and the “brother she never had.” 🫡 This is your moment to shine—from the sidelines.

‎So, are we all ready to embrace the platonic appreciation today? Take a deep breath, hold that bouquet with pride 🌹, and remember: your patience is blooming—even if your romantic prospects aren’t.✨

✨ HISTORY MADE. VOICES HEARD. DREAMS MOVING FORWARD. ✨

Congratulations to Angelique Pico, 1st Placer – Editorial Writing (English), and to her coach Lloyd Jefferson Cecogo, for their outstanding victory at the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), Eastern Visayas Region!

This triumph marks a historic milestone—the first time since 2017 that Taft National High School qualifies for the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC). With pride and gratitude, we now set our sights in Ormoc City, the host of NSPC 2026.

The Budyong Tubignon family extends its deepest appreciation to all who contributed—in ways big and small—to Angelique’s success and to the continued growth of our school publication.

We dedicate this victory to Budyong Tubignon, the TNHS family, the Eastern Samar Division, and above all, to God, from whom all victories flow.

Our sincere gratitude to our ever-supportive school leaders:
Ma'am Sylvia Doloo, District-in-Charge, Sir Emil Adena, School Principal, and Ma’am Pearl Macalalad, Head Teacher of the Languages Department, for their constant care and guidance of our campus journalists and coaches.

We also thank Dr. Antonio Delos Reyes, Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Raymund Capacite, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; and Ma’am Marcosa Lavado, Division Secondary Journalism Coordinator, for their direction, leadership, and unwavering support.

Special thanks to the Local Government Unit of Taft, through Mayor Gina Alzate-Ty and Sir Khyle Amancio Ty, for always granting requests and providing for the needs of our campus journalists during trainings and competitions.

Our heartfelt appreciation as well to Sir Justine Jake Eriodico and Sir Jonathan Abogado, and to the Rimando family, for ensuring a safe and smooth journey to Sogod; and to Mrs. Luzviminda Lawas, our school nurse, for looking after our health and for the thoughtful treats during RSPC.

📣 This victory is not an ending—it is a continuation of our commitment to fearless truth, responsible journalism, and student voices that matter.

Onward to NSPC 2026. Budyong Tubignon marches on. 💙📰✨

Today, the page becomes a stage and words become power.

Sending all the luck, love, and loudest cheers to the Eastern Samar Division’s campus journalists as they take on Editorial Writing and Column Writing in both English and Filipino on Day 1 of the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference competitions.

Extra sparkle and strength to Taft National High School’s fearless pens—Angelique Pico and Venus Angela Lobigas—owning the Editorial Writing arena, and to our former Opinion Editor Rey Santino Calatay, now proudly carrying his voice for Dolores National High School in Column Writing (English).

Write boldly. Think critically. Slay with substance.
Today, may your words leave no margin untouched and no truth unspoken. The division is watching, cheering, and believing in you.
