📢 Happening Tomorrow: The University of Bohol’s Theater Guild, 𝓤𝓑𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓲, in collaboration with Kasing Sining will stage “Usa Ka Isla” on May 9 at the UB-Gymnasium.

The production offers a theatrical tribute to the resilience and unity of Boholanos in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette.

🏅The Physical Education Department of the University of Bohol commenced the PE Days 2025 with a theme, "Every step towards fitness is a step towards a better life," on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

A two-day event attended by Pathfit 2 and 2N, Pathfit 4 and 4N, PE major students, and PE instructors, all gathered at the grounds of UB Gymnasium. Organized by the PE Department, the Zumba, Irish Lilt, Sports Mimetic, and Kata competitions were witnessed during the morning part of the first day. While in the afternoon, an intense basketball match filled the gymnasium with loud cheers.

On Day Two, May 7, 2025, the women's division volleyball game and the swimming competition were held simultaneously in the morning. In the afternoon, the men's division volleyball game kicked off with thrilling plays and exhilarating moments. The PE Days ended with a spirit of synodality and a fun-filled experience for all students.

The University of Bohol held the annual Miting de Avance earlier today, April 23, 2025 for the election of the set of officers for the next academic year. Candidates from both Desire and Excellence Party, with other students, have gathered at the Founder's Lounge for the said event.

Leading the Desire Party was Mr. Jonzi Viñas and Mr. Errol Case, both from the College of Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Fine Arts, running for the presidential and vice presidential positions respectively in the national SSG for AY 2025-2026, with no opposing candidates from the Excellence Party. Ms. Andrea Talosig, a senatorial candidate from College of Arts and Sciences, represented the other party.

Both parties had presented their platforms, highlighting the needs and concerns of the students. The Desire Party mainly focuses on Social Development, Student Perks and Welfare, Sustainable Development, and Leadership and Student Empowerment. The Excellence Party centers their platform on the core values of the university; Scholarship, Character, and Service, as well as Leadership, Student Engagement, and Well Being Initiative, which are all anchored on a certain Sustainable Development Goals.

Moreover, local candidates from each college and department have also introduced themselves and shared their visions and future plans for their respective colleges.
