A strong reminder from Marjorie Barretto, and I AGREE WITH HER!

What I felt about Marjorie Barretto and what happened during the wedding of her beautiful daughter, Claudia Barretto:

I’ve been a single mother all my life — no support, no help, not even a single penny from the father of my son. I stood firm, alone, through the joys, the challenges, and the silent battles no one else ever saw. And when the time comes, I, too, deserve to stand where I rightfully belong — just like Marjorie Barretto did.

I truly admired her courage when she said:
“I was seated at the front row where the mother and the father of the bride should be, and I will not say sorry for that. I raised my child singlehandedly. I was there with her. I deserved that seat.”

That hit me deeply.
Because she wasn’t just a mother — she was both mother and father.
Just like I have been.

She raised. She provided. She protected. She stayed.

And like her, I don’t need to apologize for showing up.
