For years, the Catholic Faith Defenders (CFD) has been known for courageously proclaiming, explaining, and defending the Catholic Faith. Today, we take another significant step forward.
We are proud to announce the ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CFD NATIONAL DEBATING TEAM
Debate and public speaking have always been among the twin charisms of the CFD organization. From the public defense of Catholic doctrine to the courageous proclamation of truth before different audiences, CFD has carried the mission of forming defenders who can speak with knowledge, conviction, clarity, courage, and charity.
The long wait is over.
A new generation of CFD apologists and debaters is now being called to rise—not merely to win arguments, but to defend Christ and His Church, refute error through truth, and give a reason for the hope that is within us.
The CFD National Debating Team seeks to form debaters according to the CFD Debater Seven Standards:
1. Biblically Grounded
2. Doctrinally Sound
3. Intellectually Prepared
4. Courageous in Truth
5. Charitable in Witness
6. Humble in Heart
7. Mission-Oriented in Service
All interested bonafide CFD members are encouraged to attend the CFD National Convention
on October 24–25, 2026
