Getting a backstage pass into the kitchen at Moonlit_bohol in Alona was eye-opening. The owner here is incredibly meticulous about putting together every single dish, and you can really taste the difference because they make everything from scratch.

While their fusion menu is famous, the absolute biggest revelation for me was their Detroit-style Pizza. The crust, the cheese, the sauceโ€”not the classic pizza... but it is easily one of the best pizzas experience you will find on the island.

Always a pleasure to support local initiatives that give young people a platform to share their ideas and advocacies.

Tonight, I had the opportunity to serve as one of the judges for the Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2026 Advocacy Competition as part of Tagbilaran City's 60th Charter Day Celebration.

I was genuinely impressed by the passion, confidence, and purpose shown by all the candidates. From mental health and child protection to environmental sustainability and community service, it was encouraging to see so many young women using their voices to make a difference in their communities.

I had the opportunity to participate in the ASEAN-Korea Centre ํ•œ-์•„์„ธ์•ˆ์„ผํ„ฐ and the Department of Tourism seminar on ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐“๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ญ.

One of the biggest takeaways for me was that travel content is no longer just about showing beautiful places. The focus is increasingly shifting toward experiences, storytelling, authenticity, and helping people understand why a destination matters.

It was also great to hear insights from tourism leaders, content creators, digital marketers, and industry professionals from both the Philippines and South Korea, while exchanging ideas with fellow participants throughout the day.

As someone working in tourism content creation here in Bohol, it's always valuable to learn how global trends are shaping the future of travel storytelling and destination marketing.

I spend a lot of my day editing videos, staring at screens, and working on content.

Something I honestly never paid much attention to before was eye strain... until my eyes started reminding me.

Recently, I've been trying ๐‘๐ฑ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž ๐„๐ฒ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ and one thing that caught my attention is that they're preservative-free and use hyaluronic acid for hydration.

It's one of those small things that doesn't seem important... until you actually notice the difference.

I tried the massive Pinoy Big Breakfast, but the real highlights are how they use local Calamay and Ube. From the incredibly creamy Calamay Latte and crispy Calamay Puffs (the perfect pasalubong!) to that rich Ube French Toast, everything hits the spot.
