I crossed the water to Cebu to get a firsthand look at what BE Residences is building next in Bohol, and wow, the scale of this one is something else.

After seeing BE Residencesโ€™ finished spaces in person, you get a real sense of the kind of communities they create. So standing on the raw site of Balai Helena, itโ€™s exciting to imagine everything thatโ€™s about to rise in Dauis, Panglao.

Balai Helena is a master-planned development taking shape with three residential towers, with Plaza Helena right at the forefront, bringing together curated lifestyle, dining, workspaces, and everyday conveniences within the community. Yesterday I was invited to photograph Galilea Hotel Bohol, one of Panglaoโ€™s newest hospitality developments currently preparing for its soft opening next month.

Once fully completed, the property will feature more than ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฌ, a large convention center, chapel, swimming pools, pool bar and other facilities, all designed with a modern Boholano look.

The hotel will also be managed by ๐„๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง ๐‡๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ, bringing their hospitality experience to this exciting new property in Bohol.

There is still plenty of work happening around the hotel, but you can already see the potential.

Had the opportunity to speak to more than 200 Tourism Management students at Collegio de Loboc for World Tourism Day 2026 about social media, content creation, AI, and the future of tourism.

My favorite part was encouraging the students to become storytellers for Bohol themselves. We have so much to share with the world, and the more voices promoting our island, the better for all of us.

A huge milestone for Bohol retail! ๐Ÿ›’๐ŸŽ‰

It was absolutely packed for the opening, but Robinsons Supermarket at Bellemar Lifestyle Center is officially open for business! This is so much more than just a new grocery store, itโ€™s a massive step forward for competition and choices on the island. Better layouts, amazing imported products, and a elevated shopping experience right here in Panglao.
