Ang kahalagahan ng Literacy at Media Information laban sa pagkalat ng misinformation and disinformation ay ating matutunan kung ano ang naging puno’t ugat bakit ang ating bansa ay nakakaranas ng mga ganitong epidemyang hindi pa nawawakasan.

Isulong natin ang matalinong bayan para sa ating kinabukasan.

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶 representative of the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗦), as she takes on a powerful initiative for change! 🌟 Her project, 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, is all about bridging literacy and critical thinking among young minds in Makati to combat the spread of 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 in the Philippines. ✨

With the theme “𝙈𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖: 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙪𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖” (From Writing and Speech to Action: Building a Wise and Free Nation), this project is set to equip the youth and student body with the skills to spot, question, and counteract false information—𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 in today’s media landscape. 👾
