The Storm Breakers
When the skies darken and the winds begin to roar…
three silent warriors rise from the heart of Luzon.
They do not speak, yet their presence protects millions.
They are the Sierra Madre, the Caraballo Range, and the Cordilleras —
the ancient guardians that stand between us and the storm.
SIERRA MADRE — The Storm Shield
Facing the Pacific Ocean, Sierra Madre stands as the first line of defense.
It takes the full force of every typhoon, breaking its rage before it touches the land.
Its forests, though scarred and weary, continue to protect us —
a living wall between the fury of nature and the people it shelters.
CORDILLERAS — The Tallest Guardian
High above the clouds, the Cordilleras rise with pride and power.
They are the spine of Luzon — firm, unyielding, and resolute.
Their strength mirrors the soul of the Filipino:
battered by storms, yet never broken.
CARABALLO RANGE — The Silent Connector
Hidden within Nueva Vizcaya lies the Caraballo Range —
the bridge that unites the might of the Sierra Madre and the Cordilleras.
It speaks not through thunder or wind,
but through the quiet bond it weaves — linking protection, strength, and life itself.
Together, these three stand guard —
ancient, steadfast, and eternal.
As long as they stand, so will Luzon.
And as long as GOD’s hand remains upon our land,
the mountains will rise, the storms will pass,
and His people will endure —
protected by grace, guarded by His creation.
