August 9, 2025 - Today, we join the nation in celebrating 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮, a time to recognize and honor the rich cultural heritage, wisdom, and vital role of Indigenous Peoples in protecting our environment and natural resources.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region X stands in solidarity with our Indigenous communities in Northern Mindanao and beyond, whose ancestral knowledge and deep connection to the land are essential in advancing sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
