One of my favorite things about traveling with my Traveler’s Notebook is collecting little pieces of the day as I go. Stamps, places, views, random moments—tiny reminders that eventually become part of the story. 🤎

📍From Ximending, take the MRT from Ximen → Xindian Station (Green Line), then take Bus 849 → Wulai.

A little day trip to Wulai, documented along the way. Save this for your Taiwan itinerary. 🇹🇼✨

Found one of those Taipei spots I had saved for the trip—an old neighborhood alley perfectly framing Taipei 101 in the background. 🏙️🤍 And of course, my Traveler’s Notebook had to be part of the shot.

Quick tip: Take the MRT to Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station (R03), Exit 4, then walk around 10–15 minutes toward Songren Road. For an easier Maps search, look up Takemura Izakaya (竹村居酒屋)—the photo spot is right around the alley beside it. 📸

Definitely one of my favorite Taipei 101 views—the contrast between the quiet old alley and the city’s most iconic landmark just hits differently. 🇹🇼✨
