Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛), the beloved Taiwanese actress and singer, captured hearts worldwide with her unforgettable role as Shan Cai in Meteor Garden, a drama that defined a generation. With her talent, beauty, and grace, she became an icon in the entertainment industry, inspiring countless fans across Asia and beyond.

Beyond the screen, Barbie was a devoted sister, daughter, and friend. To those who knew her personally, she was a warm, kind, and loving presence—a woman whose passion and dedication shone in everything she did. Her influence extended far beyond acting, leaving an enduring impact on the industry she cherished.

Tragically, Barbie Hsu passed away at the age of 48 due to complications from flu-related pneumonia while on a family trip to Japan. Her sister, television host Dee Hsu, confirmed the heartbreaking news, sharing, "Thankful to have been her sister in this life. I will always miss her."

Though she has left this world too soon, her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the fans who will forever cherish her work. May she rest in peace.
