Calculated Risks and also don't lose yourself in the Process. 😊
Don't skip that Prayer time
Don't skip that Family time
Don't skip that Sleeping and Eating time
Don't skip that Bath 😆
“Don’t take risks in this economy” sounds sensible.
Until you remember that almost every meaningful financial decision already comes with risk.
Investing has market risk.
Starting a business has ex*****on risk.
Changing careers has income risk.
Holding cash has inflation risk.
Buying property has financing and liquidity risk.
Even staying exactly where you are has risk.
Your income can stagnate.
Your skills can become less valuable.
Your purchasing power can fall behind.
The goal was never to eliminate risk.
It’s to understand which risks are worth taking and which ones can seriously damage you.
Before committing money, ask the uncomfortable questions.
What happens if I’m wrong?
How much can I lose?
How long can I survive without the payoff?
Can I recover?
Is the upside worth the downside?
Calculated risk is making sure one bad outcome does not end the game.
The goal isn’t to avoid risk. It’s to understand which risks are worth taking.
