Planning to visit Legazpi City anytime soon? Here’s a list of some places you can eat in and near Legazpi City in Albay.

P.S. Like all the lists I compile, these are just a FEW suggestions of classic and new spots you can visit as of November 2025 that I've tried or have been recommended by locals (but would be of interest for tourists).

Isang Carlo Gonzaga, pinarangalan ng The Philippines Loop bilang nakaikot sa mga pangunahing kalsada ng Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao sa loob ng 84 na araw bago nakabalik kung saan s'ya nagsimula gamit lamang ang bisekleta. Congratulations!

𝙃𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔 𝙈𝘼𝘿𝙀 🇵🇭

Filipino mountaineer 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗢 just set the Guinness World Record for the fastest crossing of the Philippines on foot!

At 55 years old, he just proved that strength isn’t measured by age, it’s measured by purpose.

He walked across the Philippines on foot, from the northern tip of Luzon down to the southern tip of Mindanao.

Five months. 16–18 km a day. Mostly alone. Just a man, his advocacy, and the open road.

His mission? To spread 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙉𝙤 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚, a simple but powerful message: take care of the outdoors that take care of us.

Along the way, communities welcomed him, LGUs joined him, and strangers became friends. And on Oct. 22, Guinness officially recognized his journey as the fastest crossing of the Philippines on foot.

This isn’t just a record.

It’s an inspiration.
It’s a reminder that preparation beats fear, and purpose beats fatigue. 🙌

“KUNG MAY KILOS-PROTESTA LABAN SA PAGBABAYAD NG BUWIS, SASAMA AKO” — GINA ALAJAR

Hindi nag-atubiling magsalita ang beteranang aktres-direktor na si Gina Alajar tungkol sa kanyang pakikibaka bilang isang mamamayang tapat magbayad ng buwis sa gitna ng lumalalang isyu ng katiwalian sa gobyerno.

Sa isang panayam sa DZRH , inamin niyang mabigat ang loob niya nang bayaran ang ikalawang installment ng kanyang 2024 income tax.

Ayon kay Gina, naiintindihan niya ang galit ng mga Pilipino—lalo na’t maraming tapat na nagbabayad ngunit walang nakikitang benepisyo mula sa gobyerno. Hindi umano rebelyon ang layunin, kundi pagpapahayag ng matinding pagkadismaya sa tila sistematikong paglustay ng kaban ng bayan.

Bagama’t sa huli’y sumunod pa rin siya sa batas matapos magdasal at magbasa umano ng Bibliya, nanindigan siyang dapat managot ang may sala at maibalik ang pera sa bayan.

“Ang dapat nating ipag-pray ay makulong kung sino ang dapat makulong… At sana maibalik yung pera sa kaban ng bayan.”
