𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The University Student Government of TUP-Taguig (USG-T) officially welcomed its new leaders during its Turnover and Awarding Ceremony, themed "Ascendance: Passing the Torch of Regal Governance" on August 25, 2026. Emphasizing that leadership is passed on rather than ended, Dr. Emmanuel Ferrer and Dr. Rexmelle Decapia Jr. reminded the students that their service yields invaluable, lifelong experience: "Andito tayo para maglingkod; to serve and to represent."

The transition was highlighted by a symbolic Pinning Ceremony led by Hon. Mark Ivan Rosete, following his presentation of the administration's accomplishment report. After awarding certificates of appreciation to the outgoing ACSO and USG officers, the event concluded with a heartwarming reminder that "What ever learnings na natutunan niyo bilang leader, mapapanghawakan niyo yan."

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

It’s been 43 years since former Senator Benigno “𝘕𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘺” Aquino Jr. was assassinated at the Manila International Airport upon returning from exile in the United States.

Under the establishment of Republic Act No. 9256, signed in 2004, August 21 was officially declared as Ninoy Aquino Day and classified as a special non-working day in order to commemorate his death anniversary.

As we honor this day, let us remember what truly matters: 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. It’s not just about looking back at history—it’s about choosing to stand by these values every single day.

𝗧𝗘𝗞𝗬𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗦 | Maligayang kaarawan sa ating Junior Multimedia, Althea Marie Bancayan!

Sa bawat kuhang iyong binibigyang-buhay, tila humihinto ang agos ng oras upang maitago ang isang sandali sa sisidlan ng alaala. Sa iyong mga likha, ang mga tahimik na sandali ay nagkakaroon ng tinig, at ang mga kuwentong maaaring tangayin ng panahon ay nagkakaroon ng tahanan sa gunita. Bilang Junior Multimedia, taglay mo ang malikhaing pananaw na nagbibigay-hugis sa mga tagpong maaaring malimot at nagbibigay-damdamin sa mga kuwentong nais nating ipaabot. Sa bawat likhang iyong inihahain, nagkakaroon ng pagkakataong mabuhay muli ang isang sandali, hindi lamang sa harap ng mga mata, kundi sa puso at alaala ng mga nakasaksi.

Sa paglalakbay mo sa panibagong yugto, nawa’y manatiling maalab ang ningas ng iyong paglikha at matatag ang iyong loob sa bawat hamong tatahakin. Huwag mong hayaang ikulong ka ng mga hangganan ng nakasanayan, sa halip, maglayag ka sa malawak na dagat ng guniguni at lumikha ng mga salaysay na may kaluluwang tumatagos sa puso. Sapagkat ang tunay na sining ay hindi lamang nakikita ng mata, ito’y kumakatok sa puso, gumigising sa diwa, at nag-iiwan ng bakas na hindi basta kayang tangayin ng panahon.

Isang pagpupugay sa wikang humuhubog sa ating pagka-Pilipino!

Sa bawat taon ng ating pagdiriwang ng 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮, muli nating pinapatingkad ang halaga ng wikang Filipino bilang pangunahing pundasyon ng ating bansa. Hindi lamang ito simpleng daluyan ng mga salita—ito ang tunay na pintig ng ating 𝘬𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘯.

Ang ating wika ang nagbubuklod sa atin sa kabila ng ating pagkakaiba-iba, at nagbibigay-boses sa ating mga pangarap bilang isang lahi. Sa pamamagitan ng paggamit, pagpapayaman, at pagmamahal sa sariling wika, patuloy nating isinasasaisip at isinasapuso ang yaman ng ating pinagmulan.

Ating ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika saan man tayo makarating. Huwag nating kalimutan na ang tunay na pag-unlad ay nagsisimula sa pagpapakatotoo sa ating sariling pagka-Pilipino.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang yaman ng ating lahi. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 !

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 || 𝗧𝗨𝗣-𝗧 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟮.𝟯𝟳% 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲; 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗣𝗠𝗟𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Five (5) out of 22 takers from the Technological University of the Philippines - Taguig (TUP-T) passed the August 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE), as per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) earlier today, August 13.

Out of the 5 first-time takers, one (20%) managed to pass and four (23.53%) of the 17 repeat-takers were able to pass the exam, putting the campus at an average of 22.37% below the national average of 36.95%.

On the other hand, the sole taker from the campus for the Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE) passed the exams as per the same announcement.

Results came out after the delay due to disruptions in government operations caused by inclement weather conditions.
