The Philippine ArtisanโTaguig successfully held its 19๐ฉ๐ ๐พ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ช๐จ ๐
๐ค๐ช๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ก๐๐จ๐ข ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐ง ๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ฅ (๐พ๐
๐๐) on October 24โ25, 2025, at the Old Library of the Technological University of the PhilippinesโTaguig Campus. With the theme โ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฟ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ก ๐ผ๐๐: ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ,โ the event delivered seminars in literary and news writing, graphics and illustration, multimedia production, and photojournalism, which are key fields in campus journalism. The two-day initiative also provided hands-on workshops that enabled the TPA-T staff to apply learned competencies through collaborative output and team-building activities that further strengthened solidarity and communication within the publication.
The two-day event consisted of a seminar on day one and both workshop and teambuilding activities on day two attended by staff and the editorial board.
The TPA-T members were divided into groups for the teambuilding activities: the ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฉ๐ก๐๐จ (๐ฝ๐ง๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ), ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐ช๐๐๐ (๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ค๐ฌ), ๐ฝ๐ก๐ช๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ (๐ฝ๐ก๐ช๐), ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฅ๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ (๐๐ช๐ง๐ฅ๐ก๐), and the ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐๐ฃ๐จ (๐๐๐ฃ๐ ), and they competed across stations facilitated by the alumni, senior staff, and non-competing members of the editorial board.
๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฉ๐ก๐๐จ bagged first place, followed, in chronological ranking, by ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฅ๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ, ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐ช๐๐๐, ๐ฝ๐ก๐ช๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐, and ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐๐ฃ๐จ placing last.
Two days of CJSW reminded us what it means to be Artisansโlearning, growing, and figuring things out. It wasnโt just about the lessons but about realizing how much we still have to learn and how fun that process can be.
It was a mix of laughter, challenges, and moments that made us reflect on why we do what we do. In the end, we walked away not just better at our craft but closer as a team and family.
