Seafood Paella Recipe 🥘🦑🦐🦞
Get ready to impress your family and friends with this delicious Seafood Paella!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Bomba or Arborio rice
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, mussels, calamari)
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups fish stock
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp saffron threads
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
1. In a large paella pan or skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.
2. Stir in the rice, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly toasted.
3. Add diced tomatoes, fish stock, smoked paprika, saffron, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add the mixed seafood and continue to cook until the seafood is cooked through and the rice is tender (about 5-7 minutes).
6. Remove from heat, cover with a towel, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes:
Feel free to customize the seafood based on your preferences. You can also add peas or other vegetables for extra flavor and color.
