Hiring: Assistant Production Manager (Event Partnerships & Production)

We are looking for a highly organized Assistant Production Manager to support the events of PinoySeoul like the upcoming Manila AI Film Festival (MAIFF).

We need a proactive problem-solver who specializes in Pre-Production Events Production and Sponsorships Management, and knows that hitting a deadline is non-negotiable. If you are the type of person who communicates before an issue arises, we want to hear from you.

What we’re looking for: Experience or guts in B2B communication, handling events, or project coordination. Proactive Communication: You don't wait for instructions; you anticipate needs. Deadline-Driven: You manage your time effectively to keep the team on track.

Setup: Mostly remote (Philippines) and on-site for required physical activities.

Type: Project-based, freelance partnership designed to be manageable alongside your other projects.

A tree sparrow is a cute small bird that breeds in parts of Europe and Southeast Asia. They are widespread in cities but in Europe they are found in woody areas or in the countryside. In the Philippines, the tree sparrow is called “Maya” or “Mayang simbahan” (church sparrow in English).

1. Myanmar's old name is Burma. It was called Burma during the British reign that lasted from 1824 to 1948.

2. Chinlone is Myanmar's national sport. How it is played is by keeping the cane ball into the air by a team of six players by foot juggling.

3. People from Myanmar are diverse. There are 135 total different ethnic groups that have their own culture and tradition. The ethnic groups areKachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Bamar, Rakhine, Shan.

Let’s start a day by learning the writings of Khmer!

Khmer is a language spoken by people from Cambodia and also people from Vietnam and Thailand. In the early 7th century, it is found that the Khmer language has already been written. Khmer borrowed from Sanskrit and Pali.

There are varieties of Khmer: central Khmer, northern Khmer, southern Khmer, western Khmer, Phnom Penh Khmer, and Khmer khe. The writings of Khmer use a syllabic alphabet. The letters indicate a vowel, while the consonants have two forms. Spaces are used to separate sentences or clauses. The writings' directions are from left to right.
