That Beethoven Del Valle Bunagan, known professionally as Michael V was already making rap songs back in the early ‘90s, long before comedy rap became mainstream in the Philippines?

Aside from being a comedian, he’s actually respected in the local hip-hop scene for his lyrical creativity, wordplay, and parody style. Some people even consider him one of the pioneers who helped make rap more relatable and entertaining for Filipino audiences.

Behind the jokes was real talent — Michael V. could genuinely rap with flow, timing, and clever bars that many underrated MCs today still respect.
