Sobrang dangerous talaga ng mga lalaking sinungaling at marunong magtago. Kasi hindi lang basta kasinungalingan ang dala nila — kundi pagkasira ng tiwala, ng puso, at ng katahimikan mo. Imagine, sobrang minamahal mo yung tao, binigay mo lahat — oras, effort, tiwala, pati sarili mo — tapos malalaman mo na ang dami pala niyang nililihim. Yung tipong kahit harap-harapan mo na siyang tanungin, kayang-kaya ka pa ring tingnan sa mata at magsinungaling nang walang bakas ng guilt.

Masakit isipin na minsan, yung taong pinagkakatiwalaan mo pa, siya rin pala ang pinaka marunong magtago ng katotohanan. At ang pinakamasaklap, kahit mamatay siya, hinding-hindi niya aaminin kung hindi mo pa mahuhuli. Parang lahat ng pinagsamahan niyo, ginawang laro — habang ikaw, seryosong nagmamahal, siya naman, sanay magtago sa dilim ng mga kasinungalingan niya.

😷 PhilHealth: Para Saan Pa Ba ang Binabayaran Natin? 💸

Honestly, I can’t even remember how long I’ve been a PhilHealth member. Parang forever (dito ko pala sya mahahanap ❤️) na buwan-buwan may kaltas sa sahod, tahimik lang akong nagbabayad. Actually now ko lang naisipan i-check magkano monthly ko. I never questioned it. I thought, okay lang ‘yan, at least may security ako someday kapag nagkasakit ako.

Well… that “someday” finally came this week.

Na-admit ako sa St. Luke’s dahil sa high-grade fever na akala ng doctors ay dengue. I stayed there for five days — tests, treatment, confinement, lahat. Buti na lang may HMO benefit ang company namin, kaya malaking tulong ‘yon. Still, I was hopeful na kahit papano, may ambag si PhilHealth sa bill. After all, matagal na akong nagbabayad faithfully, di ba?

Pero ayun na nga — out of a ₱122,787 hospital bill, ₱5,460 lang ang sinagot ng PhilHealth. 😤

₱5,460. Sayang, konti na lang 5% na. Partida, sabi sa billing, tumaas na nga daw yan ng 50%! Eh di WOW!

Grabe, parang ang sakit. I wanted to crawl back sa hospital bed.

You spend years contributing, believing that this system will have your back when you need it most… only to realize na halos wala pala talaga. Nakakainis, nakakafrustrate, at nakakadismaya.
You start to wonder — saan napupunta lahat ng kontribusyon natin?

Bakit ganito kaliit ang nakukuha ng mga ordinaryong miyembro kapag sila na ang nangangailangan?

PhilHealth is supposed to be our safety net — a public trust built on the promise of healthcare for all. Pero sa totoo lang, mas mukha na siyang koleksyon agency kaysa sa tunay na tulong sa mamamayan.

We deserve better than this. 💔

Kung buwan-buwan tayong nagbabayad, the least we deserve is a system that actually works when it matters most — hindi ‘yung loose change lang ang ibinabalik sa atin pagkatapos ng taon-taong tiwala.

I don't even understand why a lot of people concluded us as the bäd person or the wrong side for reacting after being disrespected, we're just humans who have feelings and get hùrt. —but one thing I realized is that we are not the ones who are toxic, but the one who provokes you to react that way. Your reaction that you were annöyed, ängry or sullën is valid because you were disrëspëcted.
