I had a moment of reflection—looking back at my humble beginnings—and guess what I found? A photo taken 8 years ago.

What makes this moment special is the journey behind it. I was once a kid who was bullied at school—for being too skinny, too dark, and for having breakouts. I still remember someone mocking me, saying, “Baka sumabog ’yan, lumayo ka!” I had no one to share those feelings with, since I was living alone, far from both of my parents, renting a place just to continue my studies.

At that young age, I didn’t know how to defend myself. I would just cry quietly and ask myself what was wrong with me. But despite everything, I never let that bullying stop me. I held on to my dreams and never let go of the vision of who I wanted to become.

Fast forward—8 years of hard work, growth, and learning—I’m beyond grateful for how far I’ve come. I thank God for every step, every blessing, and every opportunity that brought me to where I am today.

So let this be your reminder: no one can predict what the future holds—only God can. He knows our past, present, and future. Just keep going. Trust the process.

To those who bullied me—thank you. You made me stronger. But I truly hope that no one else will ever have to experience what I went through.🙂
