Hey, I’m Anj 🫶 You might see me posting about books and how I romanticize life in my 30s — but here are some things most people don’t know about me:
1. I genuinely believe in aliens and that there’s life beyond Earth. It’s literally impossible we’re the only ones in this vast universe. 👽
2. My favorite cuisine is Japanese food. I want to go back to Japan solely to eat authentic Japanese food. That’s it. That’s the trip.
3. I used to be a vocalist in a band during high school. We mostly sang Paramore songs and performed at a Brgy festival. I even composed an original Tagalog rock song about high school life. Iconic era.
4. I hate okra. Probably the only vegetable I refuse to eat.
5. My dream destination is Iceland — I want to see the Aurora Borealis with my own eyes.
6. The only book that made me ugly cry was Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. I was NOT prepared for that ending. Still not over it.
7. I’m an empath. I cry easily — even just watching touching reels at 2am.
8. My biggest fear is seeing my parents get old and sick.
9. I took Taekwondo classes when I was 9 and reached red-black belt at 14. Don’t test me. 🥋
10. Even at this age, I still talk to myself in front of the mirror. In the bathroom. Whenever I’m alone. (Yes, I know. It’s a whole personality.)
