Talya is suffering a pain no living creature deserves.

When we found her by the roadside, Talya lay motionless amidst the dirt and the indifference of the world. Her body was being eaten away by worms day by day. Her skin was severely damaged, her ears badly injured, and infected wounds spread throughout her body.

Most heartbreakingly, Talya had lost her sight. Her eyes could no longer see any light, only swelling, inflammation, and constant oozing. She didn't resist, didn't cry out, and didn't even have the strength to react to the pain tormenting her.

Talya seemed to have given up hope.

No one stopped to help her. No one spoke up as she was gradually left to the point where her body was almost beyond saving.

We rushed Talya to the emergency room immediately. Doctors are doing their best to control the infection, remove the maggots, and help her get through the critical days ahead. But this journey will be long, requiring intensive treatment, medication, special care, and a lot of love.

Today, Talya needs us.
