🇵🇭 128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines proudly participated in the 128th Celebration of Philippine Independence Day held at the New City Hall Grounds, Tagum City, an event initiated by the Local Government Unit of Tagum City.

The celebration was graced by the presence of City Mayor Hon. Rey T. Uy, together with city officials, members of the City Council, representatives from various government offices, uniformed personnel, civic organizations, and members of the community who gathered in unity to honor the sacrifices and heroism of the Filipino people in the pursuit of freedom and nationhood.

As Scouts, we stand committed to the ideals of patriotism, citizenship, leadership, and service. Our participation in this meaningful occasion serves as a reminder of our duty to uphold the values for which our heroes fought and to contribute positively to our communities and our nation.

May this celebration continue to inspire every Filipino, especially the youth, to cherish our hard-earned freedom, embrace our responsibilities as citizens, and work together toward a stronger and more prosperous Philippines.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | SATURDAY SERVICE CONTINUES

While many spent their Saturday resting, the dedicated Scouts of La Filipina National High School chose to continue serving.

With teamwork, discipline, and a strong spirit of volunteerism, they extended their Brigada Eskwela efforts by cleaning the school grounds—collecting trash, removing weeds, and clearing overgrown grass to help create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for everyone.

Their hard work and commitment reflect the true essence of Scouting: service above self. Despite the heat and the physical demands of the task, they carried out their responsibilities with enthusiasm, resilience, and determination. Their efforts not only improved the appearance of the school but also demonstrated the values of responsibility, citizenship, and community service.

We proudly commend our Scouts for a job well done and for proving once again that service knows no day off.

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱

The spirit of Scouting was on full display as our Scouts once again rendered their service during Day 5 of Brigada Eskwela.

Through unity and teamwork, they took part in chair repairs, classroom repainting, cleaning activities, and various physical labor tasks to help prepare the school for the opening of classes.

Their resilience was evident throughout the day. Despite the heat, fatigue, and challenges of the work, they continued to serve with dedication and ended the day wearing the same smiles that reflect the true meaning of service above self.

Thank you, Scouts, for your commitment, hard work, and unwavering willingness to help. Your actions continue to inspire others and embody the values of Scouting in service to the community.
