La Filipina National High School takes great pride in announcing that seven of our dedicated teachers have successfully completed the Basic Training Course for Troop Leaders conducted last September 26–28, 2025 at Apokon Elementary School.

Their outstanding performance and commitment to the ideals of Scouting truly exemplify their readiness to guide and inspire the youth. Our BSP Coordinator, Alexis Jon M. Naingue, CML, proudly witnessed their growth and transformation throughout the training.

We sincerely extend our gratitude to our supportive School Principal III, Ma’am Prescilla R. Gullez, EdD, whose encouragement and leadership paved the way for this milestone achievement.

As Lord Robert Baden-Powell reminds us:

La Filipina National High School proudly invested 93 Scouts today—ready to serve, lead, and inspire. ✨

On September 13, 2025, a total of 93 Scouts proudly took their oath of service during our school’s Investiture Ceremony, led by our dedicated BSP Coordinator, Alexis Jon M. Naingue, WBH.

This meaningful milestone was made possible through the full support of our teachers and administration, headed by our ever-supportive School Principal, Dr. Prescilla R. Gullez, Ed.D.

On September 13, 2025, La Filipina National High School’s Scouting family gathered for an Orientation for New and Old Scouts, a day filled with learning and camaraderie. ⚜️

The orientation covered essential topics that strengthen every Scout’s foundation:

✔️ History of Scouting
✔️ Ideals of Scouting
✔️ Smartness and Good Order
✔️ Knot Tying, Lashing, and Ropeworks

The Rover Scouts of La Filipina NHS BSP – Rover Scout Circle 20 proudly rendered their service during the school’s first scouting activity of the year — the BSP Orientation for Unit Leaders.

🌲⚜️ La Filipina NHS Holds First BSP Orientation for Unit Leaders ⚜️🌲

On September 6, 2025, the Senior Scouts of La Filipina National High School successfully conducted their first scouting activity for S.Y. 2025–2026 — the BSP Orientation for Unit Leaders.

A total of 15 teachers enthusiastically joined the event:
👨‍🏫 Male Unit Leaders – 6
👩‍🏫 Female Unit Leaders – 9

The program was graced by our dedicated school leaders and BSP officials:
✨ Dr. Prescilla R. Gullez, EdD, School Principal, represented by Ma’am Khristal Therese P. Aguilar, who warmly reminded us that Scouting goes beyond the classroom — it strengthens both character and well-being.
✨ Sir Isaias E. Maghuyop, CLT, Division BSP Coordinator, who highlighted the vital role of Outfit Advisors in shaping the future of Scouts through consistency and strong character.
✨ Ma’am Ruby Rosa G. Del Prado, CML, Council Scout Executive of BSP Tagum City Council, who inspired participants with her discussion on the Scouting Ideals.

This event marks the beginning of exciting and meaningful Scouting activities in our school, guided by the commitment of our faculty and staff, through the initiative of Sir Alexis Jon M. Naingue, WBH, BSP Coordinator.
