The Class of 2026 Recognition Program celebrated student leaders, academic achievers, and special awardees in a ceremony that underscored purpose-driven leadership and holistic excellence.
Student officers from various clubs and organizations were recognized for their courage, accountability, and commitment to serviceโproving that true leadership goes beyond position and is rooted in purpose and impact within the academic community.
As honorees received their awards, a message resonated throughout the event: recognition is not merely a reward, but a responsibilityโto lead, to inspire, and to create meaningful impact.
School Director Doris M. Naberos, RN, emphasized that the Recognition Day highlights students who have gone beyond expectations in leadership, service, research, and academics, while reminding awardees that their achievements carry a greater responsibility to lead with purpose and inspire others.
โThis Recognition Day shines a spotlight on our student leaders, our dedicated officers of various clubs and organization who have chosen to serve, to lead and to make a difference. Leadership is never easy. It requires courage, accountability and a heart willing to put others before oneself,โ Naberos stated.
She emphasized that the recognition of academic achievers reflects their discipline and commitment to excellence, while their creativity and growth beyond the classroom are supported by families and guided by educators in shaping responsible leaders.
โThrough your awareness, leadership, and service, you have shown that true leadership is not about position but about purpose. You have inspired your peers, strengthened your organizations, and contributed meaningfully to our academic community,โ she added.
Dr. Alejandro L. Ladeza, Dean of Student Affairs, expressed gratitude to the students, faculty, and attendees, emphasizing the value of cherishing learning experiences, maintaining faith, and carrying forward newfound wisdom as he acknowledged their support in successfully realizing the third education program.
โTo make all your dreams come true, you need only one key and what is that key? perseverance. Remember that God has a plan for you. Pursue it,โ Ladeza said.
Furthermore, the program concluded with a call for awardees to view their recognitions not only as honors but as responsibilities to continue leading with purpose, inspiring others, and contributing meaningfully to their communities.
