While hearing one of our young people share God's message, I was deeply touched and led to a meaningful realization.
Job in the Bible was a man blessed with great wealth and influence. He had flocks, possessions, and all the comforts anyone could dream of in his time. Beyond his wealth, Job was known as a righteous man in the sight of God. His faith and integrity set him apart.
Then came the greatest test of his life. In just a short time, everything he had was taken away—his possessions, his children, and even his health. From riches to rags, Job lost it all. Yet in the midst of his suffering, Job’s faith did not crumble. He did not curse God. Instead, he chose to remain faithful because he knew the God he served.
When Satan tested him, God allowed it, not because He was absent, but because HE KNEW Job’s heart! God knew that Job’s faith was genuine and unshakable. And Job, on the other hand, KNEW HIS GOD SO DEEPLY that no pain, no loss, and no trial could separate him from his faith.
Today, many people say they turn their backs on God because they were “natisod” inside the church—they stumble because of the mistakes of others. But Job’s story teaches us something deeper: IF YOU TRULY KNOW WHO YOUR GOD IS, your faith will not depend on people. Even if others fail you, even if life tests you, even if you lose everything, you will stand firm. Because faith is not about people, it’s about God.
So just like Job, let us remain steadfast. Cling to His promises, because at the end of the day, what matters is the sincerity of your heart and your genuine relationship with Him. Trials will come, tests will stretch us, and disappointments will hurt us—but when we truly know our God, we will not be moved. With Him by our side, we can overcome even the greatest mountains.
