If Your Presence Does Not Go With Us
Exodus 33:15
There are moments in life when we must decide what we value most. Do we desire God's blessings more than God Himself?
When the Lord told Moses that Israel could enter the Promised Land without His presence, Moses refused to move forward. His response reveals a heart that understood a timeless truth:
"If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." (Exodus 33:15)
- Moses knew that success without God's presence is failure.
- Prosperity without God is empty.
- Opportunities without His guidance can lead us away from His will.
The greatest treasure of the Christian life is not the destination but the presence of the One who leads us there.
May our prayer always be:
"Lord, I do not simply want Your blessings, I want You. Lead me, guide me, and never let me walk without Your presence."
Here is the question today,
- Are we seeking God's hand more than His face?
- Do we desire His gifts more than the Giver?
- Would we still follow Him if every earthly blessing were taken away?
May we learn from Moses to value God's presence above every blessing, every opportunity, and every earthly success.
"God's presence is our greatest necessity, our greatest distinction, and our greatest source of strength. Without Him, nothing else truly matters."
