We would like to inform everyone that a magnitude 7.6 earthquake has recently occurred, affecting many parts of our region. While we are still assessing the full impact, your safety and well-being remain our highest priority.

We ask for your cooperation and calm as we go through this situation together. Please take note of the following:

🔴 What You Should Do:

1. Stay alert for aftershocks. If you feel shaking, follow the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” method.

2. Stay away from beaches or shorelines. A tsunami alert may be in effect. Wait for official updates before returning to coastal areas.

3. Check your homes and surroundings for any signs of structural damage. Report serious damage to the barangay.

4. Help one another. Look out for your neighbors, especially the elderly, children, and those with special needs.

5. Follow official updates only from PHIVOLCS, NDRRMC, and the Barangay Council. Avoid spreading unverified information.

Our Barangay Emergency Response Team is now on standby and ready to assist. Please cooperate with all safety protocols and instructions from authorities.

Together, with discipline and compassion, we can stay safe and overcome this challenge. Let us remain strong and united as one community.
