OFFICIAL ADVISORY | BARANGAY MARBON

In view of the current situation brought about by Typhoon Basyang, the Barangay Council of Barangay Marbon has officially activated its Response Cluster effective February 5, 2026, to ensure strengthened preparedness, efficient coordination, and immediate response to any emergency that may arise.

This proactive measure aims to safeguard the lives and properties of our residents through intensified monitoring, disaster risk reduction activities, and the prompt delivery of necessary assistance. All barangay response units, volunteers, and concerned committees are now placed on heightened alert and are directed to strictly perform their assigned duties in accordance with existing disaster response protocols.

Residents are strongly advised to remain vigilant, stay informed through official barangay announcements, and immediately report any emergency concerns to the barangay authorities. Cooperation and unity among the community are essential as we collectively work to mitigate the effects of the typhoon.

The Barangay Council assures the public of its continued commitment to public safety, preparedness, and responsive governance during this time.

Sa tanang residente sa Barangay Marbon:

Tungod sa pag-igo sa Bagyong Basyang nga nagdala og kusog nga ulan ug hangin, ginapahimangnoan ang tanang katawhan nga magbantay ug mosunod sa mosunod nga pahimangno alang sa kaluwasan sa tanan:
1. Likayi ang paggawas sa balay gawas lang kung dinalian kaayo.
2. Ayaw pagtabok sa baha ug likayi ang mga lugar nga prone sa landslide ug kusog nga baha.
3. Siguroha ang balay – higpita ang atop, bintana, ug tangtanga ang mga butang nga posibleng malupad.
4. I-andam ang emergency kit (pagkaon, tubig, flashlight, baterya, first aid).
5. Bantayi ang mga bata, tigulang, ug PWDs ug tabangi sila kon gikinahanglan.
6. Paminawa ug sundon ang mga pahibalo sa Barangay, MDRRMO, ug uban pang otoridad.
7. Kon gikinahanglan, andam nga mo-evacuate sa gitudlong evacuation center.

Ang kaluwasan sa tanan maoy una nga prayoridad. Palihug magtinabangay ug magmatngon hangtod sa pag-agi sa bagyo.

PAHINUMDUM SA TANAN!

Ang Tropical Depression nga gitawag og Basyang kay naa na sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ug nagpadulong pa west-southwest gikan sa silangan sa Mindanao, dala ang kusog nga ulan ug hangin.

🌬️ Signal No. 1 ug Hangin:
• Signal No. 1 gipahimutang sa pipila ka lugar sa Surigao del Sur ug Surigao del Norte tungod sa Basyang. Ang hangin mahimong moabot og 39–61 km/h sa umaabot nga 36 ka oras.

☔ Ulan ug Dagan sa Sistema:
• Daghang ulan, kusog nga hangin, ug mas taas nga balud ang posibleng musangpot sa Caraga lakip ang Agusan del Sur, Surigao, Dinagat Islands, ug uban pang dapit sa Mindanao ug Visayas.

📍 Lokasyon ug Kusog:
• Ang sentro sa TD Basyang kay gibana-bana karon mga 735–895 km silangan sa Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, nga adunay maximum sustained winds mga 55 km/h ug gusts hangtod 70 km/h.

🌫️ Unsa pa ang Mahitabo:
• Ang bagyo posible mosamot ug lig-on ug mahimong usa ka tropical storm sa sunod nga mga oras samtang nagalihok paingon sa habagatan-sidlakan nga bahin sa Philippines.
• Ang initial nga landfall gipaabot sa eastern Mindanao tali sa Huwebes gabii ug Biyernes buntag.

⚠️ Mga Babala:
• Mag-andam ug siguroha ang kaluwasan labi na sa mga lugar nga prone sa baha, landslide ug kusog nga hangin.
• Bantayi kanunay ang bag-ong advisories gikan sa PAGASA ug mga lokal nga disaster offices.
