USJR Basak Junior High Campus Cosplay Event ✨
Sorry for the late post 😅 but I truly enjoyed this event. Being there honestly brought back memories from my early cosplay days. Back then, not many people understood what cosplay was. Some people thought it was weird, others were just confused about it.
Now it’s amazing to see how far the community has come. What used to be a small niche hobby has grown into a space where people celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and their love for their favorite characters.
These days there are also things like AI-generated content, but nothing really compares to the effort and dedication of creating costumes, props, and wigs by hand. The time, patience, and creativity behind each cosplay are what truly make this hobby special.
To the students we met during the event, thank you for welcoming us and sharing the same excitement for the characters we love. Your energy made the experience even more fun. 💙
Also very grateful to judge alongside Alan & Mais, two people I’ve looked up to in the cosplay community for a long time.
Shoutout to my cosplay competition duo partner, Ganzai, and of course, my partner in life, Dave, for always supporting and sharing this passion with me.
And thank you Sir Josh Andrino for inviting me to judge this event again. It’s always an honor to be part of it.
