One of the things we recently discovered about our 3-year-old daughter is her love and talent for storytelling.

She can tell stories based on the shows she watches on TV, create her own stories while looking through picture books, and most of all, tell stories inspired by her own experiences.
We feel so blessed to discover this little talent of hers at such a young age. That’s why whenever she wants to tell us a story, we make sure to listen—even if it’s already past 9 PM and she should be sleeping.

Sometimes, we take turns telling stories too. We let her continue our story, and then we continue hers. It has become our little bonding time—a simple way of encouraging her imagination, creativity, and confidence.

We may not know where this little talent will take her someday, but for now, we’ll keep listening, asking questions, and giving her a space to tell her stories.

Because sometimes, the little things they love doing today can be the gifts they carry with them tomorrow.
