The Blue Knights of Saint Francis Parochial School took part in the CAT (Citizenship Advancement Training) competition during the 25th Busig-on Festival in Labo, Camarines Norte.

The team showcased discipline, unity, and leadership through their marching drills and command performance. Their efforts were praised by both the audience and school officials.

Their participation highlighted the school’s commitment to patriotism and youth development as part of the festival’s celebration of culture and community spirit.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭: 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐠-𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥

Saint Francis Parochial School proudly joined the 25th Busig-On Festival parade with our very own Silver Sanctum (DLC). It was a joyful and exciting event where our students showcased their talent, teamwork, and school spirit.

This year, we were proud to introduce our new band majorette, Ehmarie Jade Arana, who confidently led the group for the first time. Alongside her was Alexis Pelleja, our conductor from last year, who once again guided our band with skill and dedication.

The experience was truly unforgettable and a great honor for our school to take part in such a meaningful tradition.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐩 𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧: 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐨𝐥𝐢

Isa sa mga pinakatampok na bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2025, na may temang “Wikang Katutubo at Pananampalatayang Augustinian: Sandigan ng Bayang Nagkakaisa”, ay ang Character Monologue Competition mula sa mga tauhan ng Noli Me Tangere.

Sa patimpalak na ito, bawat kalahok ay nagbigay-buhay sa piling karakter mula sa obra ni G*t Jose Rizal. Sa pamamagitan ng masining na pagganap at mabisang paggamit ng wika, kanilang ipinakita ang damdamin, personalidad, at pananaw ng mga tauhan na sumasalamin sa lipunan ng panahon ni Rizal.

Itinanghal na kampeon ang kinatawan mula sa Grade 10 – MRB na si Julienne Ashlie B. Santos bilang si Doña Victorina, na umani ng paghanga dahil sa husay sa pagbibigay-buhay sa kanyang karakter. Nakamit naman ng Grade 9 – St. Monica ang ikalawang pwesto sa mahusay na pagganap ni Jihro Bongalbal bilang Padre Damaso.

Samantala, pumangatlo ang Grade 7 – Sto. Niño sa kanilang pagganap bilang si Doña Victorina.

Mula sa entablado, ipinakita ng mga kalahok na ang paggamit ng sariling wika sa masining na pamamaraan ay hindi lamang nagbibigay-aliw, kundi nagsisilbi ring pagsariwa sa kasaysayan at kultura. Sa pamamagitan ng monologo, muling nabuhay ang mga tauhang mahalaga sa ating pambansang kamalayan—patunay na ang wika at panitikan ay nananatiling matibay na sandigan ng ating pagkakaisa bilang mga Pilipino at mga Augustinian.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | 𝐒𝐭. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭. 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤-𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞: 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, isinagawa sa aming paaralan ang programang “St. Monica and St. Augustine Look-Alike” kung saan nagmodelo ang mga piling mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang baitang upang gumanap bilang mag-ina na simbolo ng pananampalataya, tiyaga, at pagmamahalan.

Mula sa bawat grade level ay may kinatawang kalahok na buong giting na rumampa at ipinakita ang kanilang pagkakahawig at pagganap bilang sina Sta. Monica at San Agustin. Ang aktibidad na ito ay hindi lamang isang paligsahan, kundi isang paraan din upang ipaalala ang kahalagahan ng pag-ibig ng magulang at pagbabalik-loob ng anak, na nagiging inspirasyon hanggang sa kasalukuyan.

Sa huli, itinanghal na kampeon ang mga kinatawan mula sa Grade 11 – OLC at OLH, na hinangaan dahil sa kanilang husay at pagkakabagay bilang mag-ina. Nakuha naman ng Grade 8 – St. Fulgentius ang ikalawang pwesto, habang pumangatlo ang Grade 10 – MRB.

Ang naturang patimpalak ay nagbigay kulay at sigla sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, at nagsilbing paalala na ang ating wika, pananampalataya, at kultura ay patuloy na nagbubuklod sa bawat isa.

Umindak ang mga mag-aaral sa entablado sa ginanap na Cultural Dance Competition bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2025 na may temang “Wikang Katutubo at Pananampalatayang Augustinian: Sandigan ng Bayang Nagkakaisa.”

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang tradisyunal na sayaw, ipinakita ng bawat pangkat ang yaman ng kulturang Pilipino at kung paano ito patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating pagkakakilanlan. Ang masiglang galaw, makukulay na kasuotan, at sabayang indak ay nagsilbing patunay ng pagkakaisa at malikhaing galing ng bawat kalahok.

Itinanghal na kampeon ang Grade 11 – OLC at OLH matapos ipamalas ang kahusayan at pagkakaisa sa kanilang pagtatanghal. Nasungkit naman ng Grade 9 – St. Monica ang ikalawang pwesto, habang pumangatlo ang Grade 8 – St. Fulgentius.

Higit pa sa isang patimpalak, nagsilbing paalala ang Cultural Dance Competition na ang ating wika, kultura, at pananampalatayang Augustinian ay buhay na buhay—at patuloy na nagbubuklod sa isang bayang nagkakaisa.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

In celebration of International Youth Month, the Council of the Municipality of Talisay, Poblacion, invited selected students from the Student Coordinating Body (SCB), moderated by Mrs. Lilian Ramos. The event was held at the Barangay Hall of Poblacion, Talisay.

The program began with a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem. It was facilitated by Barangay Captain Mr. Sabularse and SK Federation Chairman Mr. Manlangit, along with the presence of the barangay officials.

The activity taught students the roles and responsibilities of a barangay captain, officials, and Sangguniang Kabataan members. They were also given the opportunity to practice writing meeting minutes, understanding the flow of meetings, and facilitating discussions. Students even held their own election for a barangay captain and officials. The event concluded with a tour of the Vice Mayor’s office.

This activity reminded the youth that being a barangay official is not an easy task. There will always be challenges and differing opinions, but it is important to accept constructive criticism and remain committed to serving the community.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐒𝐅𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘

Today, August 9, 2025 the grade 7 students with their advisers, Mrs. Marjorie S. Pante and Ms. Kimberly B. Villanueva, together with the YES-O and MRBOC volunteers, embarked their first charism journey at San Jose, Talisay, Camarines Norte.

The program which iniated by the MRBOC coordinator, Mrs. Marisol Weber aims to bring joy and delight to children by giving gifts. The activity includes varieties of activities for the children to join such as spelling bee, the boat is sinking, stop dance, and story telling. The MRBOC continues to lead activities that teach and inspire students to care for children.

A Eucharistic Celebration was held at St. Francis of Assisi Parochial School, Inc. in honor of our patron, St Francis of Assisi. Rev. Fr. Philip R. Ibasco also delivered a heartfelt homily, reminding everyone to trust in Jesus even in the midst of life’s storms.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐈 𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐓 '𝟐𝟓

Last July 31 the SDRR officers, led by their moderator Mr. Felix Parillas, successfully organized the Nutrition Week event with the theme “Nutri Fest 2025: Eat Right, Play Bright.”

The celebration featured exciting activities such as the Nutribooth, which promoted healthy eating through interactive displays, and a Cooking Competition, where students prepared nutritious and affordable meals.

The event aimed to raise awareness on proper nutrition and encourage students to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
