SFPS DLCโ€™s Investiture Ceremony

Last February 11, 2026, at the SFPS quadrangle, the Drum and Lyre Corps (DLC) assembled for their much-awaited Investiture Ceremony. Students, guest sponsors, and proud parents witnessed a moment that marked not only leadership, but also commitment and responsibility.

As the program began, selected guest sponsors delivered inspirational messages to the members, expressing their support, gratitude, and encouragement. Their words reminded everyone of the dedication and discipline required to lead with integrity and unity.

As the ceremony continued, both former and newly appointed DLC members stepped onto the stage as their names were called, accompanied by their sponsors. With guidance and encouragement, the members formally accepted their responsibilities to lead and represent the school with camaraderie and confidence.

The celebration continued with an exhibition performance that echoed across the quadrangle. With harmonized movements and powerful strikes of drumsticks and beaters, the DLC showcased the results of their hard work and unity. Every rhythm told a story of perseverance and teamwork, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The ceremony concluded not just as a formal event, but as a powerful declaration that the SFPS DLC is ready to march forward with passion, pride, and purpose.

The 28th Pabirik Festival in Paracale, Camarines Norte on January 25, 2026 shimmered with energy, heritage, and pride as the town celebrated its golden roots once more. Cheers echoed through the streets while performers marched with confidence, each step carrying the spirit of their schools and communities. Among them stood SFPS' Silver Sanctum, ready to give everything we had for the crowd and for one another.

During the Drum & Lyre/Drill (DLC) Competition, Silver Sanctum delivered a routine shaped by weeks of sacrifice, discipline, and unity. Though we did not take home an award, our powerful camaraderie, unity and resilience stirred the hearts of the crowd, drawing applause that lingered long after the final beat. Proof that our passion reached far beyond the score sheets.

Tears followed, not because of loss, but because of how deeply the moment mattered. Arm in arm, we stood proud, promising to come back stronger, your hearts burning brighter than ever. You may have left the festival not defeated, but inspired, having reminded everyone that true victory lies in courage, perseverance, and the unbreakable bond of a team that refuses to stop dreaming. St. Francis Parochial School celebrated the annual Feast of Santo Niรฑo on January 16, 2026. Students and personnel participated in the traditional Sinulog dance along the streets. The event was attended by students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.

The students expressed their devotion to Sto. Niรฑo by offering personal prayers and performing the traditional Sinulog dance.

The celebration fostered faith and strengthened unity among all participants.

In celebration of Sinulog, the community came together in a faith-filled atmosphere anchored on Godโ€™s Word. Activities such as the Scripture Bulletin and Bible Corner allowed participants to creatively express their reflections, deepen their understanding of the Scriptures, and strengthen their spiritual connection.

Through designing, sharing, and reflecting on biblical messages, the event inspired everyone to live with intention and purpose. Guided by Scripture, each activity became a reminder that faith is not only celebratedโ€”but lived out in everyday actions.

St. Francis Parochial School celebrated its annual Education Week on December 12, 2025, at the SFPS Quadrangle with the theme โ€œTulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa.โ€ The event was organized by the Booklovers Club and joined by students from different grade levels.

The program focused on the importance of reading as a pathway to a brighter future. Students participated in fun and educational activities such as the bookmarking contest, where they created creative designs. A spelling bee also challenged learners to showcase their vocabulary skills and confidence.

To welcome the Christmas season, students performed a joyful Christmas dance that added color and excitement to the celebration.

The event became successful because of the cooperation of teachers, organizers, and students. SFPS hopes that this yearโ€™s Education Week will continue to inspire learners to value reading and keep their hope for a better tomorrow.

As Christmas approaches, YES-O officers together with their coordinator hosted the annual Adopt-a-Tree and Belen Making Contest with the theme: โ€œPaskong Makakalikasan: Pagmamahal, Pagkakaisa, at Pag-asa para sa Kalikasan.โ€

Grades 7โ€“9 were assigned designated areas with their trees to decorate, while Grades 10โ€“12 were tasked to create their belen from November 27 to December 1, 2025.

On December 5, 2025, the awarding ceremony was held at the school quadrangle to recognize and honor every studentโ€™s craftsmanship and hard work. Each participant showcased dedication and creativity, earning the awards they truly deserved. A job well done to everyoneโ€”congratulations, and Merry Christmas!

Selected students from St. Francis Parochial School, Inc., together with Mrs. Marisol Weber and Ms. Danica Garcia, participated in a citywide march against corruption on November 28, 2025. The event brought together youth leaders, educators, and community advocates in a united stand for honesty, transparency, and good governance.

During the march, students held slogans, banners, and placards bearing messages calling for integrity in leadership. Their chants echoed through the streetsโ€”powerful reminders of the publicโ€™s plea for justice and accountability. Each banner and call for reform served as a compelling statement that the fight for what is right remains in the hands of vigilant and empowered citizens.

The SFPS delegation joined the movement with the hope that their voices contribute to a future defined by fairness, truth, and genuine leadership.

Last October 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM, St. Francis Parochial School in Talisay, Camarines Norte, hosted a meaningful Living Rosary event. The gathering, which featured the Glorious Mysteries, was attended by students and personnel, showcasing their devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

During the event, participants formed a living rosary, with each person representing a bead and praying a specific part of the rosary. This interactive and visual representation of the rosary beads beautifully symbolized the community's collective faith and devotion.

The Glorious Mysteries, which include the Resurrection, Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption of Mary, and Coronation of Mary, were prayed together by the attendees. The Living Rosary is a powerful way to promote unity and spirituality, especially during the month of October, which is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.

This event highlights the school's commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of its students and personnel, providing a sense of community and shared devotion. By coming together in prayer, the St. Francis community strengthens their bond and deepens their faith.

With heads held high and hearts full of pride, Saint Francis Parochial Schoolโ€™s Silver Sanctum DLC marched into the 18th Rahugan Festival in Basud, Camarines Norte. With fourteen strong delegates and one purpose โ€” to bring honor to their school โ€” under the guidance of their dedicated trainers Sir Francis Moreno and Ms. Ronalyn Alunday, and with the steadfast support of their moderator Sir Jayson Quierra.

Though they didnโ€™t bring home a trophy, they earned something greater โ€” their passion and dedication. They also bagged the Best Uniform Award, along with the admiration of everyone who witnessed their grace, discipline, and heart.

This yearโ€™s journey is not a loss, but a lesson โ€” a quiet reminder that every step, every effort, and every challenge prepares them for something bigger.
