Love is in the air and it is as sweet as a gentle breeze! โค๏ธ

Last February 14, 2025, Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino - Recoletos was filled with love and excitement as Nicolasians celebrated Valentineโ€™s and CommArts day. The day was overflowing with cheers and support for their beloved schoolmates as they showcase their talents up on stage, from declamation to singing and dancing. ๐Ÿคฉ It was then followed by reading of heartfelt letters that left everyone in awe and adoration. ๐Ÿ’Œ

This day was truly special as Nicolasians made unforgettable memories with the people they love. Remember that love isn't all about romance, but making your loved ones feel special and appreciated. ๐Ÿ’

"From dust we came, and to dust we shall return. โœ๏ธ On March 5,2025, we marked the beginning of the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday, a sacred time of reflection, repentance, and renewal of our faith. The ashes placed upon our foreheads remind us of our mortality, our need for Godโ€™s mercy, and our call to turn away from sin.

As we journey through these forty days of Lent, may we embrace the call to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, following the example of Christ in humility and sacrifice. Let this season be a time of deep spiritual renewal, where we open our hearts to Godโ€™s grace and prepare ourselves for the glorious resurrection of our Lord on Easter Sunday. May we walk this path with sincerity, faith, and love, trusting that Godโ€™s mercy is boundless and His love everlasting.

EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION

On this day 39 years ago, more than 2,000,000 Filipinos and political, military, and religious figures gathered along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue for the EDSA People Power Revolution. This historic event saw the people of the Philippines come together in an impactful way to reclaim their democracy as one nation.

Today, we honor the strength and courage demonstrated by these Filipinos in their fight for freedom against violence and electoral fraud. Let us commemorate this day as a testament to the collective power of Filipinos in their pursuit of justice, liberty, and truth.

This day is not only about political colors; it is about the victory of the Filipino people who fought dictatorship and the abuse of those with power in a peaceful, bloodless revolution that left a lasting impression on Philippine history. We must remember for the sake of our future.

Roots of Rhythm: CSNTR Foundation Day Literary Musical

โ€œFrom Music to Dance, Drama to Comedy,
A Spotlight of Excellence as Students Showcased their outstanding talentsโ€

JAN 23 โ€” Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino โ€” Recoletos was filled with echoes of yells and cheers as it celebrated its Literary Musical Competition, an event that solely focused on an individual skills and talents with the concept of Literature and Music.

The Literary Musical Competition consists of numerous performances including Declamation, Poem Reading, Sabayang Pagbigkas, Character Impersonation, Vocal Solo/Duet, Folkdance and Popdance.

The event kicked off early in the morning at Fr. Echavarri Center, joined by students, families and supporters, they witnessed a mixture of cuteness and talent of students from elementary department.

The event resumed in the afternoon as they discovered the talents of certain individuals that participated in their respective competition in the highschool level.

The program ended with a closing remark of the School Principal, Anna Mae Gajete, highlighting that the Literary Musical Competition was a success.

On Febuary 3,2025, San Nicolas De Tolentino Parish was blessed beyond measure to receive the first class relic of San Pedro Bautista from the Diocese of Bacolod. It was Joyful! โœจ The church was full of faith, joy, and maybe a few holy selfies! There were heartfelt prayers and quiet moments of reflection, it was a day filled with spiritual magic. Thank you, Diocese of Bacolod for sharing this incredible treasure with us! We are still basking in the afterglow of this divine encounter! ๐Ÿ™

The church, where people usually come to find peace was filled with a lively spirit, one could hear the noise of prayers, the singing of hymns and the pleasant smell of incense in the fresh morning air. โœจ๏ธ All of these people were one in their faith, and one in their desire to meet the sanctity of this holy relic. ๐Ÿ™ We have seen hundreds of examples of peopleโ€™s deep feelings: happiness, tears, a silent prayer, and faithfulness. The day was spent in moving masses, personal meditation and the great unity of the community without words. It was a day we will always keep in our hearts, a testimony to the might of faith and the continuing impact of San Pedro Bautista.๐Ÿ™Œโœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
