The Sisters of Mary School-Girlstown , Inc. began its annual Family Day 2025 with a heartfelt celebration of the Holy Mass, uniting students, families, and Sisters in prayer and thanksgiving.

After the Mass, the campus came alive with joy as students spent meaningful quality time with their families and friends.

Her birth is a dawn of hope, for through her came the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†โ€™s life was marked by faith, humility, and unwavering trust in Godโ€™s providence. Her simplicity reveals the greatness of one who allows God to work in every moment. Visiting Day 2025: A Celebration of Love and Family

Students and families were reunited in a once-a-year celebration of Visiting Day, a tradition filled with joy, tears, and heartfelt moments.

The homily during the mass highlighted the โ€œ3Lโ€™sโ€ โ€” Laway, Luha, and Love. Laway symbolizes the endless stories shared, Luha the tears of joy and longing, and Love the deep bond that unites families despite distance.

After the Mass, parents and children spent time together through shared meals and simple moments of togetherness, making memories to carry until the next reunion.

Visiting Day remains a treasured reminder that family is, and will always be, home.

From the humble beginnings in Busan, Korea in 1964, to the countless lives touched across the world today, the legacy of love and service that Venerable Aloysius Schwartz started continues to flourish. What began with a few helping hands and hearts filled with faith has now grown into a family of service present in several nations.

Today, as we mark the 61st founding anniversary of the Sisters of Mary, we honor the selfless dedication of our sisters, the unwavering generosity of our benefactors, and the enduring spirit of every child whose life has been transformed.

Even as we mourn the passing of our beloved ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐˜€, we are deeply grateful for the gift of his lifeโ€”a shepherd who walked closely with the poor and the forgotten. His life was a profound testimony of mercy, humility, and the joy of the Gospel. Through his words and witness, he reminded the world that true greatness lies in serving others, especially the least among us.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May his legacy continue to inspire us to live simply, love deeply, and serve joyfully.

The event began with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Jose S. Palma, D.D., Archbishop of Cebu.

This was followed by the awarding of Special Awards and Academic Excellence Awards. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mother Elena G. Belarmino, SM, our beloved School Directress, Hon. Gerald Anthony Gullas Jr., and other honored guests and made more inspiring by the words of our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Helmae E. Tapanan, SHS Principal of USJR-Basak and a proud SMS alumna. Niรฑa Joy C. Roble, batch representative and the Most Outstanding Graduate, also delivered a heartfelt Words of Gratitude, expressing thanks on behalf of the entire graduating class.

Kuya Kart Victor A. Lagustan, Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of ASMSI-International, led the Pledge of Loyalty with pride and passion.

The event concluded on a high note with the heartfelt singing of the Alma Mater Song โ€” a beautiful reminder that no matter where life takes you, youโ€™ll always carry the Marian Spirit in your heart. ๐Ÿ’ซ
