Philippine Mountaineering Course.

Philippine Mountaineering Course is more than just a training event. Dito, hindi lang tayo natututo, nagiging pamilya, magkakaibigan, at isang komunidad tayo.
Our youngest Everest summiter, Jeno Panganiban, proudly shares his Everest suit as a symbol of his journey and his mission to inspire every Filipino to step beyond their boundaries. Tulad nga ng lagi niyang sinasabi: "Kaya natin 'yan, mga Pilipino!"

Sa Philippine Mountaineering Course, hindi lang skills ang aming ibinabahagi, kasama rin ang resilience, discipline, at tamang pagpapahalaga sa kabundukan. Naniniwala kami na ang bundok ay hindi lang isang destinasyon; isa itong tahanan na dapat mahalin, alagaan, at igalang.

Naniniwala rin kami na iisa ang ating layunin, ang pagmamahal sa pagbubundok. Katulad noon, ang mountaineering ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagsa-summit. Isa itong komunidad na nagtutulungan, nagdadamayan, at sama-samang umaabot sa mga pangarap na rurok.

Hindi lang ito basta-bastang kurso sa pagbubundok na nagtuturo ng iba't ibang technical skills para maging handa sa bundok. Layunin din nitong buhayin ang mga unang kultura, tradisyon, at tunay na diwa ng mountaineering sa Pilipinas.

At higit sa lahat, ang mga aral at kwentong ibinabahagi rito ay nagmumula mismo sa mga taong naging inspirasyon natin, ang mga beterano at mga alamat ng Philippine mountaineering. Dahil naniniwala kami na ang pinakamahalagang summit ay hindi lang ang naaabot ng ating mga paa, kundi ang karakter, pagkakaibigan, at malasakit na nabubuo sa bawat pag-akyat.

Dahil sa huli, ang tunay na tagumpay sa bundok ay hindi lang ang marating ang tuktok, kundi ang pag-akyat nang sama-sama, pag-uwi nang ligtas, at pag-iwan ng magandang pamana para sa susunod na henerasyon ng mga mountaineers.
