Advisory from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines

Rescheduled power service interruption

Date of Interruption: September 21, 2025 (Sunday)
(instead of September 13, 2025, Saturday)

Time: 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Areas Affected: From Tampi Wharf to the entire area of Amlan, Tanjay City (except for part of Barangay Sto. Niño) and Pamplona (except for Barangay Calicanan and Fatima)
Dobdob and Calinawan in Valencia
Enrique Villanueva in Sibulan
Avocado in Sta. Catalina
(Our Tanjay substation will be affected)

REASON: NGCP will de-energize its Amlan-San Carlos 69kV transmission line to implement the following activities:

1. To conduct disconnection of line dropper conductor for temporary BYPASS of Bindoy Switching Station to facilitate the replacement of new PCB at Bindoy Switching Station.
2. To conduct T/L correction works along Amlan-San Carlos 69kV line.
3. To conduct PMS/testing of metering HVE at NORECO-1 Vallehermoso Substation.
4. To conduct hotspot correction works of DSW 5Z-01DS25AML contact fingers ph-A & B at Amlan Switchyard

The rescheduling of the activity is to make way for the request of 2nd District Congresswoman Maisa Sagarbarria.

NORECO II will take the opportunity to conduct parallel maintenance activities along the scheduled affected areas.

All works may be finished ahead of time and power may be restored earlier than scheduled, so please consider the lines always energized. Member-customer-owners in the affected areas are advised to take the necessary precautions. Please turn off all your electrical switches and once power is back, please wait for five minutes before switching on your electrical switches.
