Villaflores College supports the 51st Nutrition Month Celebration

On July 7, 2025, the students, faculty and staff of Villaflores College participated in the nationwide kick-off program of the 51st Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme "Sa PPAN, Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!". This year's sub-theme is "Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!".

The program started with opening remarks by Mr. Orlando G. Alonso (JHS Principal). He emphasized the vitality of good and equitable nutrition, as this is one of the Sustainable Development Goals throughout the world.

Trivia questions followed the opening remarks. The questions were taken from the competencies in TLE in every department (elementary to senior high school). There were a total of 9 winners (3 from elementary, 3 from JHS, 3 from SHS).

The 20-minute program ended with the announcement of the schedule of the activities for the month, and everyone was reminded of the pivotal role of nutrition towards a healthy body, mind and spirit.
