Of course, a Cebu trip wouldn't be complete without passing through CCLEX. 🌉✨

Bridged by CCLEX: Cebu City → Cordova (Part 1)

Crossing from Cebu City to Cordova.

Fair warning: my content might be a little extra Cebu-coded for the next few weeks. I took way too many photos and video. 😅

I also didn’t shorten the video so you can actually feel the trip as it is. Stay tuned for part 2. CCLEX: Cordova → Cebu City 🤍

As promised from my first Cebu foodie vlog, here’s Part 2 of the three must-try food experiences in Cebu—Tuslob Buwa at Timplados and the famous House of Lechon.

Tuslob Buwa was such a fun and interactive experience, especially when shared with friends. Then of course, no Cebu food trip is complete without trying their iconic lechon.

But the unexpected highlight? Witnessing a proposal at Tops Cebu. For a brief moment, strangers gathered to celebrate a life-changing memory.

It reminded me of Society’s Clock—every day places us in different scenarios, yet our stories somehow intersect. One group is sharing a meal, another is starting a new chapter, and everyone becomes part of the same moment without even planning to.

BOARD PASSER AT 72🤩

Diosdado "Tatay Ebang" Evangelista is a farmer from Candoni, Negros Occidental. For decades, he cultivated crops including rice, sugarcane, cacao, and ginger to support his family and finance the college education of all four of his children.

After each of them had earned their degrees, he returned to school himself.

In 2018, at 65 years old, he enrolled at Central Philippines State University (CPSU)-Candoni Campus under the BS Agribusiness program. In 2023, at 69, he completed the degree.

He subsequently took the Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE) in 2024 but did not pass on his first attempt. He reviewed again and sat for the November 2025 ALE.

At 72, he passed, placing him among 6,678 successful examinees out of 9,742 nationwide. CPSU recognized him at a campus convocation for the achievement.

"Age should not be a barrier to fulfilling one's dreams," Evangelista said. "What matters is taking action and finding a way."

This story is a reminder that education has no expiration date, and that it is never too late to pursue what you set aside. Salute to you, Tatay Ebang.

The real measure of success is the person you become while pursuing them. The discipline developed through challenges, the humility gained from setbacks, and the wisdom earned through experience often matter more than the outcome itself.

Because in the end, success is not just about where you arrive. It's about whether the journey shaped you into someone stronger, kinder, wiser, and more capable of making a difference.

Throwback to 2024. ✨

I almost didn't submit an entry for the Jojo Bragais Rampabida Challenge because I felt like I was already "too old." But then I remembered something: I genuinely love walking—especially rampwalking. The world has always been my runway.

I used to join pageants since grade school, but my last pageant was during my college days before adult responsibilities took over.

So I took a chance.

I conceptualized, directed, and created this entire entry, with my brother helping me bring my vision to life as my videographer. We managed to submit it during the first cut-off in June 2024, if I remember correctly. The winners were announced in December.

Did I make it to the Top 3? No.

But one thing is certain: I'm glad I joined.

I'm glad I have this video—a reminder of the moment I chose confidence over self-doubt. A reminder that some dreams don't have expiration dates. A reminder that growth happens when we stop letting fear make decisions for us.

None of this would have been possible without God's wisdom, guidance, and grace. Through His gifts, I was able to create something that reflected not just my passion, but also my faith.

Sometimes, the biggest win isn't taking home the trophy. Sometimes, it's having the courage to show up.

Overcoming self-doubt. Walk with confidence. Walk and win. Walk with Bragais.

MAY THIS MAN WIN IN LIFE 🥹

Hamza Ali is a food delivery rider in Pakistan whose journey has inspired many. After a bus accident where he lost both of his legs.

But instead of giving up, he rebuilt his life. 🧡

After facing rejection from jobs because of his disability, he moved to Islamabad alone, learned to adapt to a new city, and continued working using a specially modified motorbike to complete deliveries.

In heat, difficult roads, and daily barriers most of us never think about, he still shows up with DIGNITY.

And maybe this is the bigger message… we often complain about comfort, while others are fighting just for the chance to work.

Not everything in life is fair...but effort like this makes excuses feel a little smaller. 🥹🧡

My friend from Cebu said we couldn't leave without trying three foodies: Pungko-Pungko, Tuslob Buwa, and Cebu Lechon.

First on the list: Pungko-pungko sa Fuente.

Beyond Society's Clock isn't always about checking off tourist spots. Sometimes it's sitting on a tiny stool, eating crispy fried food, and enjoying the moment.

Definitely not an everyday meal—but definitely one of those food experiences worth trying when you're in Cebu.

Yes, prito lahat. Prone sa putok batok soo pls eat oily food responsibly. 😌🙊

Next on the list: Tuslob Buwa and Cebu Lechon

📍 Pungko-Pungko sa Fuente
🕒 Open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
🧭 52 A. J. Llorente Street, Cebu City (across Apple Tree Suites, behind Fuente Circle)

Expecially For You...

People know me as someone na tough and jolly. Took me a while and lots of courage to show my vulnerability, and sa National TV pa. Suprayss everyone! Haha. But srsly, the goal was to share what I've been through and how I was able to navigate it but due to limited time, wasn't able to share the beautiful part of the story(the healing part). Still thankful for the opportunity to share sa wider audience. It was an honor to converse with Showtime Fam at ang makantahan at masabihang pretty ng nag-iisang Rita Daniela (lumaki ulo ko ng 2cm). Haha. Special thanks to Sir Warren and Sir Akeem for pushing me to grab this opportunity and to my cousin Ian for being with me sa Expecially For You segment. Fun fact: Sa kanya yung coat na suot ko, lamig kasiii.

Will forever be grateful for this one of a kind experience. Appreciate yung mga messages and tags nyo guys, hindi ko palang mareplyan isa isa, still overwhelmed and flooded with messages. Appreciate yung concerns checking on me, letting you know that I'm totally fine na. It's all part of my past, 5 years ago. Bumalik lang yung pain during the convo kasi nahimay isa isa yung past situation. The situation that made me realize na there's always a blessing in letting go.

Lahat ng pain and heartaches natin are meant to happen and EVENTUALLYYY, God will reveal the reason behind those experiences. 🤍✨
