Back in 2021, I decided to buy my first PC so I could finally play Monster Hunter: World and other games on high settings without worrying about tweaking graphics just to make them run. Prices back then were insanely high since it was right after the pandemic, but I still went all-in because I couldn’t wait to finally play Iceborne, MH Rise, and all the other games I’d been dreaming of.
Four years later, Monster Hunter Wilds launched it became the only game that ever brought my old rig to its knees, while everything else still ran perfectly fine. It honestly feels like history repeating itself, just like the old times when Monster Hunter pushed me to upgrade from a gaming laptop, first with MH World, and now with MH Wilds. That was the moment I knew it was time to take the leap again.
I do wish the game was better optimized cuz it’s sad that many of my friends can’t enjoy Wilds yet because of performance issues. But even so, I’m happy that we still get to hunt together in the other MH titles like World, Rise, and MHGU.
And honestly, through all of this, I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s been supporting my Twitch streams and watching my YouTube and TikTok videos. Your support, reactions, comments, subs, donations and even just dropping by the stream mean more than you know. At the same time, I’m also sorry for not being able to stream consistently and for the many videos I still haven’t edited or uploaded. Life happens, but I’ll make sure to catch up and keep improving both my content and my schedule.
I’m genuinely grateful for every moment, every hunt, every laugh, every shared hype and it all motivates me to keep improving, keep creating, and keep enjoying the games I love. After years of waiting, upgrading, and grinding toward my goals, it feels amazing to finally reach this point and I’m thankful for everything and everyone who helped me get here 🥲😚
Special shoutout to Travis, Kendu, Reizan, Pat for the help and insights 😊👌
