Are you willing?
“If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.”
Matthew 10:38-39
- if we refuse to take up our cross – which are the burdens, struggles and problems in our life. And if we are willing to suffer because of Jesus then we cannot be called His children.
- Following Jesus cost us things na mahirap bitawan, it maybe our families, friends, vices, our characters and attitudes. Jesus wants our hearts to be circumcised, He wants a heart that follows, obey, faithful to Him despite of the things that burdens..
- He wants us to show up kahit tayo ay nahihirapan, nasasaktan or even if we don't feel showing up. This is OBEDIENCE and COMMITMENT.
- Kung hihintayin ntin na maging ok tayo bago tayo mag serve, kailan pa?
- It is not about showing up whenever it's convenient rather choosing to show up and serve even in our inconvenience. Because that's where our hearts truly is.
- And this is how God wants us to serve Him. Anyone can serve when they are happy or at peace but not everyone are willing to serve when they are troubled.
- So choose your service wisely and choose to glorify God in every circumstance.
