The two-day workshop on forensic sciences examination has finally commenced as the first day kicked off on the 5th floor of Priscilla Hall, TSU Hotel, Villa Lucinda Campus, on March 11, 2026.
Featuring the set of skilled and professional speakers, they undoubtedly fulfilled the objective of today's seminar, "Bridging Global and Local Practices," which brought understanding and enlightenment regarding forensic science to the learners.
The above-mentioned seminar was attended by the different institutions of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), comprising Concepcion Holy Cross College, Osias, and Holy Cross College of Sta. Rosa, the United School of Science and Technology, St. Rose College, Tarlac Christian College, Rosebelle Colleges Inc., Interworld College Foundation of Paniqui, Interworld Tarlac, and the Tarlac State University (TSU).
Six (6) of the proficient lecturers served their finest presentation covering the different areas of forensic sciences.
During the morning session, Atty. Theodore Timpac shared his expertise in Forensic Evidence, while Dr. Ramil Las-igan tackled the Lie Detection Techniques, and Dr. Lian Carla Luzong emphasized Digital Forensics.
Meanwhile, following the morning talk, Dr. Jayson Felix began the afternoon session, pointing to the Fingerprint Identification. Then succeeded by the Questioned Document, which was thoroughly reviewed by Police Major Normy E. Capeรฑa.
Prior to the conclusion, Dr. Roel Alviar unfolded his research concerning the relationship of the forensic sciences to the exemplary performance of the previous Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE). As he courageously shared the conclusion that the said area had impacts on the takers but not fully and that this kind of workshop could be a way for far better performances.
