The Filling

Cornstarch (Optional): A small amount can help tighten the mixture and lock in juices.

The Wrap & Fry

Lumpia Wrappers: Thin, crepe-like pastry sheets (usually found in the frozen section).

Water or Egg White: Used to brush the edges of the wrapper to seal the rolls.

Cooking Oil: A neutral oil with a high smoke point (like vegetable or canola oil) for deep-frying.

The Dipping Sauce

Sweet Chili Sauce: The traditional pairing.

Alternative: A mixture of vinegar, minced garlic, and bird's eye chili (siling labuyo) for a tangy kick.
