𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱!

This year’s speakers are former Paladian journalists who once brought great pride and honor to our school. Now, they are returning not as student contestants, but as mentors to our budding journalists.

They are now ready to share their knowledge and experiences gained over the years. With their guidance, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their skills in writing, reporting, and other categories of journalism. They will guide us, inspire us, and help us learn more.

Can’t wait to learn from their experiences and become better journalists ourselves!

We are once again stepping into a new chapter of learning. As the new school year begins, the PalaJourn Workshops 2025 will also commence with the theme: "Training Minds to Lead, Guiding Pens to Speak; Nurturing Courage and Commitment to Truth."

Starting this July 23, bring your pen and paper, because everything is set to train campus journalists, not just to write, but also to develop their skills in journalism. This workshop aims forthwith to help students share factual and meaningful stories while strengthening their leadership in promoting truth and integrity in reporting.

To the qualified students and their parents/guardians, please attend the SPJ CONFIRMATION & ORIENTATION on June 04, 2025. This will be conducted to introduce the SPJ program and give announcements for S.Y. 2025-2026.

For interested applicants who want to be part of the LPIHS-Special Program in Journalism, the SECOND WAVE OF ADMISSION EXAMINATION for incoming Grade 7 students will be held on May 31, 2025 from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. The exam will consist of the following: multiple choice exam, essay, skill exam, & interview.

For the skill exam, please choose 1 from the following categories and bring the needed materials:
1. Writing - ballpen
2. Editorial cartooning - Mongol pencil
3. Photojournalism - phone with camera
4. Layouting - art materials
5. Broadcasting - ballpen

Interested applicants may submit their documents to the LPIHS-Guidance Office before May 31, 2025.

✅️ Students who will take and pass the exam during the SECOND WAVE will have their confirmation and orientation on June 04, 2025.

On May 9, 2024, the Special Program in Journalism of Luis Palad Integrated High School conducted its SPJ Day Tour.

Paladian students visited UP College of Mass Communication, Art In Island, and National Museum of the Philippines.

SPJ qualifiers, together with their parents, attended the SPJ Orientation 2024 for S.Y. 2024-2025. The said activity aims to introduce the program to incoming Grade 7 students and inform them of the different school services.
