LETS TALK ABOUT CORRECTION
Maybe, mga leaders or pastors mo sa Church. Maybe it was a friend.
Maybe it was a verse you read... and suddenly, you felt uncomfortable.
You felt exposed.
You felt judged.
You felt... attacked.
But what if it wasn't hate?
What if it was love in disguise?
You see, conviction is not cruelty.
And correction is not condemnation.
It's not about shaming you.
It's about saving you.
We live in a time where people say:
"Don't judge me.
"Only God can correct me.
"Let me live my truth."
Pero kapatid, the truth is:
"Your truth" can't save you. Only God's truth can. And sometimes, God sends people to speak that truth... kahit masakit
Kapatid, Correction is part of love, Amen?
If no one tells you the truth, how can yoU grow?
If no one confronts your sin, how Wwill yoU change?
God doesn't correct to destroy yoU, He corrects to discipline, protect, and align yoU.
>"The Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Proverbs 3:12
Maybe someone called out something in your life:
Yung relationship na alam mong hindi tama.
Yung habit na tinatago mo.
Yung compromise na akala mo okay lang.
And maybe, nasaktan ka.
But friend, don't confuse hurt with hate.
Because sometimes, the most loving thing someone can do is to say
"Hey, I care about you... and I don't want to see you fall.
Let this sink in:
Being corrected is a sign you're loved enough not to be left alone in your mistake.
JesuS corrected people all the time.
The woman at the well.
The Pharisees.
EvenPeter, His own disciple.
Why? Because He loved them too much to let them stay the same.
Kaya kapatid, when someone calls yoU out with grace and truth... don't harden your heart.
Listen.
Reflect.
Repent.
>"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." Proverbs 12:1
(Yes, the Bible really said that po)
Now, let me ask you...
When was the last time you allowed God, or someone godly, to correct yoU?
Did you listen? Or did you walk away?
Correction may sting for a moment, but it can save you from a lifetime of regret.
Verse to remember:
>"Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
Revelation 3:19
