Dear Valued Customer,

Good day.

Please be informed that as of the latest update, our fiber team has proceeded to the new tapping point located at the manhole along 8757 Sedeño, Makati City.
Fiber tracing and OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) testing have identified a possible fault approximately 273 meters away, facing our Makati Node.

In addition, ongoing preparations are underway for the transfer to the new cable 216, which will be routed toward the Jazz Node.

As of now, there is still no estimated time of restoration (ETR). Rest assured, we are closely monitoring the progress and will provide timely updates as they become available.

📢 Network Update – Makati Node Investigation

Following the onsite inspection, the fiber team has completed OTDR testing at the Jazz node, with a reference distance of 3 kilometers. The results indicate a possible fault location along Valero Access Road 2, Makati City.

The team is now proceeding with fiber tracing to precisely locate the fiber cut and initiate restoration.

Network Issue Update

Root Cause (RFO): The main path downtime is due to a suspected fiber optic cable (FOC) cut on its circuit trail and protection path disruption caused by a faulty card module.

Action Taken (AT): We have implemented a logical reroute to the available path through a different card module to mitigate the issue.

Status: This issue is still under monitoring. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter.
