📣 PAGLULUNSAD NG BUWAN NG WIKA 2025‼️

Opisyal na binuksan ng Senior High School- San Beda University Rizal ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, sa pangunguna ng KATAFIL at Makatang Bedista.
Nagpamalas ng natatanging pagtatanghal ang ilang kaguruan sa pamamagitan ng pagsayaw at masining na pagbati gamit ang kanilang wikang katutubo.

Kaugnay ng pagdiriwang, binanggit din ang iba’t ibang gawain at mga patimpalak na magaganap sa mga susunod na araw, tulad ng Tugsayawit, Sanay Magsanaysay, Tula ng Diwa't Wika, Ispelebrasyon, Kasuotan at Salo-Salong Pinoy.

Ang mga nasabing gawain ay nakatakdang ganapin mula bukas, ika-7 ng Agosto hanggang sa susunod na linggo, ika-13 ng Agosto, 2025.

Bedans at WOFEX 2025! 📣

Members of Marketing Magnates and Teenpreneurs together with Mrs. Arlene Noble, Mr. Romman Cubacub, Mrs. Joan Margaret Chulvo, Ms. Andrea Naquimen, and Ms. Dahlia Cabalquinto attended the World Food Expo (WOFEX) at SMX Convention Center, on August 6, 2025, which showcased live demos and product tastings and various 1,000 local and international exhibitors.

Each student explored food business innovations and opportunities, learned directly from industry professionals and exhibitors, gathered insights through conducting interviews for entrepreneurship and possible business ideas for the business simulation also known as mercallion, and developed observation, communication, and critical thinking skills.

This was indeed an insightful experience as ABM students as it will greatly help them not only in conceptualizing innovations for food products in the upcoming mercallion, but also in their future careers.

Ready, Set, Rio! The Grade 12 students and the Student Council prepared fun and exciting games for the Grade 11, each with their unique designs according to their class themes last PIDU. Today, the integrants engage in various games in the classrooms of their seniors and the IBED Gym before the class Agape and the most anticipated Washout later this morning at the SHS Parking Lot.

In celebration of the Benedictine Consciousness Month, the SHS unit gathers at the auditorium for the Benedictine Quiz Bee organized by the Bedan Pastoral Council today, July 30, 2025.

Representative duos from each class will receive certificates of participation, while winning duos will receive medals, and the class that wins 1st place will be awarded a banner.

Titled “The Bene-Brains: A Benedictine Legacy Quiz Bee of Hope, Dignity, and the Rule,” this quiz bee serves as a reminder to Bedans of St. Benedict’s history and values, and how we are called to live them today.

Six years ago, on August 28, 2019, former president Rodrigo Duterte signed the Republic Act 11440, recognizing July 25 as the annual National Campus Press Freedom Day.

Today, as we honor the event, The Bedan Roar stands in solidarity with fellow Filipino student journalists in upholding the truth while protecting the campus press from censorship and suppression.

This day not only marks an event written on paper, but serves as a reminder that regardless of age or status, every voice matters. Because true freedom lies in the power of the verity that lives within the pens we hold and the voices we speak with.

In line with the announcement made by Sec. Jonvic Remulla of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, classes will remain suspended tomorrow, Friday, July 25, 2025, due to continuous heavy rainfall and inclement weather. Everyone is advised to monitor weather forecasts and announcements from local government units to stay safe and informed of any further updates.

During this time, the Senior High School Unit of San Beda University – Rizal will continue implementing an independent learning modality to ensure that students may continue accomplishing their academic requirements from home.

Bedans, take this opportunity to review your notes and prepare for upcoming lessons and activities.
