Classic, refined and unmistakably Filipino πŸ‡΅πŸ‡βœ¨

Steering away from the grand and elaborate national costumes often seen on the pageant stage, Mister Pilipinas International 2026 John Wayne Alba dons a modern interpretation of the classic Barong Tagalog for his official national costume portrait at Mister International 2026.

Designed by Albert Andrada, the ensemble puts Filipino tradition and craftsmanship at the forefront, with its delicate details telling β€œa story older than the moment itself” and celebrating a culture that continues to stand beautifully in its own light.

BACK-TO-BACK FOR THE PHILIPPINES! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ‘‘

The wait was worth it for Sophia Bianca Santos as she captured the Miss Elite 2026 crown on September 18 in Egypt, securing a back-to-back victory for the Philippines.

She succeeded fellow Filipina Juvyel Anne Saluta, who won Miss Elite in 2024. Saluta was unable to attend this year’s finals to crown her successor.

Santos was announced in the middle of last year as the Philippines’ representative to Miss Elite 2025. However, the competition did not proceed as scheduled, extending her wait for the international stage.
